And this is my first card for today:

2016 Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop - Card 1 by Helen Gullett @ Living My Given Life | http://wp.me/p1DmW0-2gs #creatingjoyfully #springclh #coffeelovingcardmakers #coffeelovingpapercrafters #handmadecard #cardmaking #papercrafting #watercoloring #silhouetterocks #silhouetteamerica #silhouettecameo #heroarts #timholtz #distresscrayons #fabercastell #gelatos #cansonwatercolorpaper

I got the new Tim Holtz Distress Crayons and decided to try on the Hero Arts – Coffee cup Rubber Stamp. So easy and fun playing with these distress crayons. I added the Vintage Photo Crayon directly on the stamp and sprayed with little bit of water. Then stamped it twice on a piece of Canson Watercolor Paper. Then I dried it with my Craft Heater (CTMH) and fussy cut them using Non-Stick Micro-Tip Scissors from CTMH (best scissors for fussy cutting ever!)

After cutting them, I added the first cup using adhesive runner and the second one slightly overlapping using 3D foam tape. Check out the detail:

The background card I created using stencil I cutout with Silhouette Cameo and Gelatos. I finished my card with some sequins.

I decided not to use any sentiment for this card, to have it ready for any occasions when I need it 🙂

  2. First of all, thanks for being a Super Sponsor for the Spring Coffee Lovers BlogHop. Like the layering of the two couples and the water coloring technique you used.

  3. I too like to do cards without a sentiment so I can use them for anything. If they have a great focal point I think you car really get away with that. I love how you stamped all of the hearts in the background. Those crayons are on my wish list. Thank you for being a sponsor/
