2016 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: Happy National Cocoa Day!

Happy National Cocoa Day!!! Hope you have a fabulous and delicious hot cocoa 🙂 And today is the Day 5 of the Coffee Lovers Winter 2016 Blog Hop! We have 400+ link ups now! WOW! Lot’s of coffee/tea/cocoa themed projects for sure… And the link up and hop is still open until December 16th!

Celebrating this National Cocoa Day, I made this hot cocoa pocket gift:

I made this pocket out of an envelope. I sealed the envelope on the back, then die cut the top with one of the Concord 9th – Bags & Tags Dies.

I stamped the plaid pattern on the front pocket using Concord & 9th – Lots of Blots stamp set. Then I decorated the front pocket with the sentiment from the same stamp set and die cut it with the circle from the Bags & Tags die set. The cup is from the Mittens & Mugs stamp & die sets from Concord & 9th old but goodie sets.

Embellishments I used on this pocket are the gold sequin ribbon from Hobby Lobby and Christmas washi tapes that I got from Pick Your Plum a while ago.

I made couple of them to give to my best friends at church this Christmas. I hope you all are inspired today to create and share your Winter coffee/tea/cocoa themed project with Coffee Lovers Winter 2016 Blog Hop! Come hopping along with us, visit the participants and leave them some love, too. And…there are LOTS of giveaways!!!!

  2. What a wonderful way to add pizzazz to a tasty gift! Using an envelope: brilliant! Definitely adding this idea to my ‘must try’ list (and apparently I may “need” the C9 Bags and Tags set after all *grin*)
