Warm Christmas Greetings

Hello everyone… How’s everyone doing the day after Thanksgiving Day? So many left over? LOL… I hope you all had a wonderful day with your family… Today, I have a new Warm Christmas Greetings card to share with you that I created with the November new release stamps, custom dies, and paper collection from Our Daily Bread Designs.

On this card I used the Snowman Family stamp set, Snow Globe Dies, Trees & Deer Dies, and the Christmas 2017 Paper Collection.

First, I added the background Christmas 2017 paper directly on a white card base with some adhesive runner. And then I die cut the snow globe out of the bright red and dark red papers from the same paper collection.

I stamped the Snowman family with archival ink, and then watercolored them with watercolored pencils and brush. I added some gold glitter stickles on the hats.

And for the glitter snowy hill background, I cut it out using the hill die from the Snow Globe set. I added some liquid glue on the die cut and then dipped it in a mix of white glass fine glitter. Set it to dry. I also die cut some of the trees from the Trees & Deer Dies out of the solid green papers from the Christmas 2017 Collection.

I decorated the snow globe with some of the Snow Crystal die cuts and added them on the card with some liquid glue. And the sentiment I stamped in with red archival ink on a die cut from Mini Label Dies. I added the sentiment on the card with 3D foam tape with some gold thread on the background.

That’s all about my card today. Hope this will inspire you to create today! THANK YOU for stopping by! Have a wonderful blessed day.

Thursday Coffee Break: Have A Cup Of Joy

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL! May all you have a wonderful time with your family this weekend. Let’s take a little break from cooking, shall we? 😀 Today, I have a simple card with gift card holder inside and a pocket to share for you. Let’s have a cup of joy…

Today, I used the Joy Clay – Christmas Coffee Stamp Set on this card. On the front of the card, I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. And then I stamped the big holly leaves on another plaid patterned paper and fussy cut them. I added them on the card and addd some of the big red gems.

To create the gift card holder inside the card, I used on of the die from Concord and 9th – Bags and Tags Dies. And then I used green/white twine to hold the card.

I used an regular A2 envelope to create the pocket. First, I glued to close the flap, and then I cut out on the side of the envelope to create the pocket.

To decorate the front pocket, I used one of the Holiday Plaid paper pad that I got from Hobby Lobby. I added on the pocket diagonally and cut off the extra paper.

I stamped the cup on a creme cardstock and fussy cut it. Then, I stamped the small holly leaves on another plaid patterned paper and fussy cut them, too.  I added them on the pocket with adhesive.

And then I stamped the sentiment from the same set with red and green archival ink using my Mini Misti.

I finished the pocket with a big red gem on the holly leaves.

That’s a quick and simple card with gift card holder. I hope this project will give you inspiration to create Christmas projects after this Thanksgiving 😀

THANK YOU for stopping by today!

No-Line Coloring Dog Gone Christmas Card

Hello everyone… I am back again today with a mixed media Christmas card. Today is No-Line Coloring Dog Gone Christmas Card. It is one of the new technique that I tried and need some more practice 🙂

No-Line Coloring Dog Gone Christmas Card With Joy Clair

I am sharing a full photo tutorial how to create the card on Joy Clair Blog today. I created using the new Dog Gone Christmas Stamp Set. This stamp is totally super adorable for creating Christmas cards and handmade gifts for dog-lovers.

I stamped the images with Desert Sand Mement Ink Pad on a piece of white cardstock. And then colored them with Prismacolor Pencils and used the Colorless Pencil to blend the colors.

You cannot see the lines of the stamped image becuase I stamped them in the lightest color ink so it is easy to color on top of it. This is the no-line coloring technique. It is fun coloring technique to try.

After I colored them all, I cut them one by one using micro tip scissors.

Thankful For You Mixed Media Card In Two Ways

Hello everyone… It’s the Thanksgiving week… We have so many things to be thankful for. One of them is YOU! My blog readers and crafty friends. THANK YOU for all your love and supports in this year…! You all have blessed me, encouraged me, and with your kind words you help me to grow and keep growing in many ways. And today I have these Thankful For You mixed media card in two ways… for you!

Thankful For You Mixed Media Card In Two Ways

First, I created the backgrounds using the Peony Number Two ARTplorations Stencil and Ken Oliver Color Bursts – Caribbean Set.

I put the stencil on a piece of watercolor paper, sprinkle the color burst powder on it, and sprayed with some water. Watching how the powder turn into watercolor is so fun 🙂

I lifted up the stencil of the paper, instead of wiped it of, I grabbed another watercolor paper, and put the wet stencil on the paper and I got another print watercolored background.

Thankful For You Mixed Media Card In Two Ways

I dried the papers with craft heater for speedy drying, you also can let it sit to dry. After they dried, I run them through my diecutting machine with the largest size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

I added both background panel on base cards with Tombow Xtreme Adhesive.

Then I randomly stamped some of the images from Mixed Media Grunge stamp set using Memento Dew Drop – Sorbet Scoops, to create more texture look on the backgrounds.

Thankful For You Mixed Media Card In Two Ways

I die cut the Thankful Word Die using creme and light grey cardstocks. Each color I die cut 5 times. And then I stacked them together using the liquid glue to create the chipboard sentiment.

Before I added the chipboard sentiment on the card, I stamped the sub-sentiment from Wonderfall Time Stamp Set. I finished the card with some gold assortment sequins.

My cards today are inspired by the photo inspiration from the CUTplorations November 2017 Challenge. I used the color combo and theme. The CUTplorations Challenge team share their projects on STAMPlorations Blog today to inspire you! And… you still have time to play along with this month challenge. Link up your project HERE.

More Christmas Project Ideas With Our Daily Bread Designs

Hello everyone… I am back again today with more Christmas project ideas to share with you that I created using the new November Release stamps and dies from Our Daily Bread Designs 🙂

My first project is a treat box that I created using the Glorious Gabble Box Dies and I decorated it with the Trees & Deer Dies and Curvy Slopes Dies. I die cut the trees out of the dark green solid papers from the new Christmas 2017 Paper Collection, and I die cut the deer from the yellow gold solid papers from the Wedding Wishes Paper Collection. For the curvy slope hills, I die cut them out of white cardstock and added some of the distress inks on them for the snowy shadow.

For the sentiment, I used one for the sentiments from We’ve Moved stamp set and die cut it with Pennant Flags Dies.

I tied up the box with the white-gree twine for extra embellishment.

And for my second project is a Christmas card with matching ornament that I created using the new Winter Cardinal stamp set and Snow Globe Dies.

I stamped the cardinal twice on watercolor paper with water-proof ink pad, and watercolored it with watercolor real brush pens. And then I die cut them, for the card I used Double Stitched Squares Dies, and for the ornament I used the Snow Globe Dies.

On the card, I also die cut the dark green solid paper from Christmas 2017 Paper Collection with Squares Dies as frame mat. And for the base, I die cut one of the patterned paper from Christmas 2017 Paper Collection using Pierced Rectangles Dies. I added the background paper on the white card base with permanent adhesive. I added the watercolor panel on the mat with permanent adhesive, wrapped around some twine ribbon on them, and added it on the card with 3D foam tape. I then added some of the fake snow on the image for extra texture and embellishment.

For the snowglobe ornament, I die cut the snow globe one more time with the dark gray solid paper from Wedding Wishes Paper Collection. I then die cut 4 circles using the Circle Dies for the back reinforcement and for the twine hanger.

I think I will make more of this card and ornament set for church family gift this year. What do you think? 🙂
