Happy World Cardmaking Day! Today all the cardmakers all around the world are getting together, or spending time in their craft room to celebrate the day to create and inspire each other with handmade cards.
On this first day of October, I am sharing projects for 3 different challenges. Check out the Scrapping Everyday Miracles and the a2z Scrapbooking challenge. I hope you will play along with us, too!
And it is also time for the new challenge at Joy Clair Stamps blog. This month, they have the photo inspiration and color challenge. Aren’t they beautiful inspirations for Fall?
On your project, you can use the colors and/or theme and you will have the entire month to participate with unlimited creations. Just keep in mind that all needs to be new, not back linking and you need to include the link to our Challenge in your blog post! The random winner will receive a $25 gift card from Joy Clair Store and will be announce on October 31!
Here’s my card for this challenge:
This is my first try with no-line watercoloring technique and I totally enjoy coloring process 🙂 I stamped the image from Harvest Blessings stamp set with Antique Linen Distress ink on Canson Watercolor paper. And I started to color each image with Gansai Tambi watercolor.
I love coloring and this technique. It relaxes me 🙂 If you like coloring, you might wanna try this technique by stamping your own image and color it.
When the panel dried well, I die-cut it with one of the Fancy Frame dies from Craftin Desert Divas. For the sentiment I stamped it on the vellum with Versafine Onyc Black and die-cut it with oval stitched die, one of the Fancy Stitched Label Dies from Craftin Desert Divas. Them, I punched holes on both sides of the label with my WRMK Crop-A-Dile, tied up some American Crafts Orange Twine, tucked them under the panel, and then I added the whole panel on the Kraft card base with 3D foam tape.
That’s the card for the Joy Clair October Challenge 🙂 I hope you play along with us! Thanks a lot for stoping by and have a fabulous day!
