Spring 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: STAMPlorations

The Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop has begun! You are invited to join the blog hop and link up party at Coffee Loving Cardmakers where you all can share your newly created Spring coffee/tea/cocoa themed projects.

There are 60+ SUPER SPONSORS who are generously giving away prizes, one of them is STAMPlorations. I am sharing 2 mixed media cards that I created with STAMPlorations coffee stamps and CUTplorations dies.

My first card is inspired by the March theme and sketch challenge on STAMPlorations blog:

On my first card, I colored the sunflower from Color Blooms Coloring Book (designed by Shery Russ) with ShinHan Touch Twin Marker and Faber Castell Big Brush Pen. Then I added some glitter on it with Spectrum Sparkle Glitter Brush Pen.

Then I cut the colored paper with the cup die from Anywhere There’s Coffee stamps and die set. I cut out the cup again one more time with black cardstock to stack it behind the sunflower cup.

I stamped the Coffee Bags In A Row on a white cardstock with Memento Rich Cocoa ink pad. I made a mask and stamped it again on top of the first row bottom. Then I colored them with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and watercolor brush. Then I die cut the finished panel with the one of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies – CUTplorations.

And for the sentiment, I added some Color Brust powder on my craft mat, sprayed with some water, then smooshed a watercolor paper on it to create the marble look. Then I die cut it with the Java Great Day Phrase Die – CUTplorations.

For my second card, I inspired by the sketch from Sip and Share Sketch on Coffee Loving Cardmaker blog.

On my second card, I used another paper from the Color Blooms coloring book and colored the  flowers with Distress Crayon.

I stamped the cup from the Coffee Happy stamp set on another Color Brust panel background with Versafine Onyx Black. Then I fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors.

And I die cut the sentiment with the Hug in a Mug Phrase Die – CUTplorations and black cardstock. Then I added it on the card with glue pen.

I finished my card with some clear gems and natural twine.
