ODBD April New Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hello Everyone! April is here! I am so looking forward to spend more time outside the house with my daughters and enjoy Spring flowers around us.

Kicking of this new month, I am joining Our Daily Bread Designs for their April New Release blog hop today. I am so very thankful to be part of their amazing design team. This blog hop starts at ODBD Blog where you can find all the information about the new release, money-saving bundles and inspirations from the Design Team. And…. there is a giveaway for you… please read all the way to find out how you can enter!

For this blog hop, I created 2 projects: a card and a luminous lantern.

I created my card with the new To My Friend stamp set. This is one beautiful stamp set that you can create special handmade card just for your friends, to share the love and joy with them. I also use the new Lattice Background Die on the background.

I use the Pierced Rectangles Dies to cut 2 of the color burst watercolored panels and I heat-embossed the dandelion from To My Friend stamp set on the green panel and added some white pearl gems on it. For the sentiment, I stamped it on a white cardstock and die cut it with one of the Mini Label Dies.

Here’s a second card I created for my swap friend this month. The Bible verse is just perfect for celebrating our friendship.

On my second card, I used the sentiment from To My Friend stamp set, Tulips stamp set, Tulip Die, and Fence Die. The background panel I created with color burst powder and some perfect pearl mist.

My second project I created using the new Luminous Lantern Die, Roses Dies, and Rose Leaves Dies. If you like to make DIY home decor, this dies are perfect for you! You even can use them to create centerpiece and gifts.

On those roses, I added some glitter on them for extra sparkles on them 🙂 First, before I put them together, I added liquid glue on all over the edges of the petals and leaves and then sprinkle some of the glitter on them. I used fast dry glue for the glitter and using glue gun to put the flowers together (fast dry glue works great also for flowers).
