Hello everyone… Welcome back to Joy Clair August Inspiration Blog Hop. Today is our second day to share projects with you using the new collection from Joy Clair. If you have not yet seen the Day 1 project, you can go here to check it out and join the blog hop, too.
On my today’s card, I use the new Noah’s Ark, Bible Journaling Clear Stamp Set. It is one of the Color By Faith Series that you can use for your Bible journaling projects and other Faith-base projects. Every stamp set that you get from Joy Clair, you will get free SVG cutting files that you can use to cut out the shaped with any electronic die cutting machines.
I used Distress Inks to create the sky background, I blended each ink with make up sponge and sprayed with some water. I let the water soaked in for about 30 seconds and then I dabbed it with paper towel. That creates the distress look on the background. I stamped the sentiment couple times with Versafine Onyx Black Ink using Mini MISTI to get bold result.
I stamped the boat, animal, clouds and birds on a white cardstock using Mini MISTI also. I arranged them all on the cardstock, picked them up with the lid and stamped using Versafine Onyx Black ink. Then I fussy cut them with scissors.
I colored the boat with Distress Ink Vintage Photo and watercolor brush. I added the ink on the craft mat and picked it up with my damp watercolor brush.
I added finished pieces on the card with some glue adhesive, then I decided to create a frame for this card. I die cut the frame using 2 sizes of rectangle dies and added it on the card. Then I added the extra clouds on in with 3D foam.
Now come and join us the last day of the blog hop and remember that we always have prizes for our readers and visitors that comment HERE in our corporate blog and in ALL designers blog.
