3rd Annual STAMPlorations Giving Thanks Blog Hop and Wishlist Linky Party

Hello everyone… WELCOME to the 3rd Annual STAMPlorations Giving Thanks Blog Hop and Wishlist Linky Party. This is a special blog hop with 36 participating designers showcasing the 11 news stamp sets. And there are prizes to win! So let’s… get blog-hopping!

For this blog hop, I created 2 projects showcasing the new stamp set, Wonderfall Time stamp set, designed by Sherry Russ. There are 18 pieces of Fall/Thanksgiving themed, clear stamps in this set.

The first project is a mixed media tag. I cut out the tag using the ATC Tag Builder Die Set and heavy weight white cardstock. I applied some of the clear gesso on the tag using old credit card. I dried it with my craft heater.

Next step, I added some of the Distress Crayons on top of the tag, blended with my finger, and I sprayed with some water while holding it right side up on top of a paper towel. This way the ink run down the tag to create the background. Then, I added some of the Vintage Photo Distress Ink along the edge of the tag.

After the background dried, I stamped the leaves and pumpkin with Ranger Black Archival Ink Pad. And then I colored the pumpkin with Arteza Real Brush Pens and watercolor brush.

Last step, I stamped the sentiment with the same ink on the tag, and then I stamped the sentiment on a white paper strip, and added some Vintage Distress ink to colored it. I added the sentiment trip on the tag with strong liquid adhesive.

For my second project, I created this card with the same stamp set. First I cut out the tag using the same die ATC Tag Die set, and then stamped the background with Memento Dew Drop – Desert Sand.

I scribble some Distress Crayons on a white card stock to create the Fall colors, I stamped the leaves and fussy cut them with micro-tip scissors. I added the leaves on the tag with mini stapler.

And then I stamped the sentiment on another white cardstock, cut them out into banner and paper strip. I added the banner on the tag with mini stapler, too.

To make the card, I cut out some of the Fall theme patterned paper from Close To My Heart (expired), added them on a kraft card base with adhesive. And them I added the tag on the card with thin 3D foam tape and then I added the other sentiment paper strip with thick 3D foam tape. And I finished the card with wrapping some of the natural twine ribbon.
