Share The Love Day 1

One of my favorite Summer flowers is Hydrangea. When these flowers bloom, they are gorgeous bunches and they have beautiful gradient or ombre colors, too. According to Wikipedia, this flower plant is native to south and eastern Asia,(China, Japan, Korea, The Himalayas, and my lovely home country, Indonesia), and the Americas.

Today I am sharing a card with Mondo Hydrangea stamp set from Essentials By Ellen. I love this stamp set!

I stamped the flower and leave images on Canson Watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black. Then I colored them using my Derwent Inktense Pencils. These pencils are AMAZING! They can be just coloring pencils and they are also can be watercolor pencils. The inks are permanent when they are dry. So, for blending colors, it is the best when they are wet.

When I colored my flowers and leaves, I first colored them with 2 shades of colors all at once. And then move on to the adding the water. Paper Towel is my best friend when blending these colors with watercolor brush because I had to clean the brush every time I color each flower.

White waiting for the them to dry completely, I worked on the sentiment. The sentiment is from Winnie and Walter that I heat embossed it on Black Cardstock with Ranger Super Fine White embossing powder, then I cut it with micro-tip scissors.

I also cut the flower bunch and leaves with micro tip scissors because I do not have the matching die-set.

I used the one of the American Crafts assortment cards that I already added the black banner. Then I added the flowers and sentiment with 3D foam tape for some dimensional.  I finished this card with some small clear gems.

I just wanna keep this card 😀

Thank you for visiting today! Have a fabulous and blessed day!
