It is time for Technique Blog Hop with my fellow CTMH consultants. This month is all about Picture My Life cards. These journaling cards are not only for journaling! You’ll find more creative ways of using them on your project.
You should arrive from Cathy’s blog, and if you get lost, you can start the blog hop from Melissa’s blog.
I created a card with one of the PML cards that come with the Florence Paper Packet. There are 12 – 12″ x 12″ B&T Duos™ papers, 2 each of double-sided patterned papers including Picture My Life journaling cards.
I saw that Flaxen patterned journaling card and I thought it would make pretty background paper with the new A Bunch Of Love stamp set. On a piece of Watercolor Paper, I stamped the flower image and sentiment with Black Archival Ink and cut it with the matching A Bunch Of Love Thin Cuts with my Evolution Advanced die-cutting machine.
Make sure the stamped images dry completely before you color them. I used my Craft Heater to dry them and then I colored the flowers with Watercolor Paints and waterbrush. Then I added some clear gems on them.
I added some Rose Gold Foil Tape on the card to create the stripes. I love this new foil tape 🙂 Then after that I added the Flaxen patterned journaling card on it and last is the Bunch of Love die-cut image with 3D foam tape for some dimension.
Your next hop will be my crafty friend, Danielle’s blog, to see what she has created this month with Picture My Life cards.
I hope you like the card I made and be inspired to create with Picture My Life cards today. THANK YOU for visiting and have a fabulous blessed day!
