For this blog hop, I made a watercolored card I using Anchor of Hope Bible Journaling Clear Stamps, My Redeemer Bible Journaling Clear Stamps, Mini MISTI stamping tool, Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad, Sakura Koi Water Colors Travel Kit, Canson Watercolor Paper, CTMH Designer Paper (retired).

For papercrafters who love making cards, tags or bo0kmarks, My Sweet Petunia – Mini MISTI is great stamping tool. I love the size that is compact and small enough, even for traveling ūüôā And Joy Clair stamps are high quality clear stamps and they have great designs for every day occasions, seasonal, and for Bible journaling.

joyclair-mysweetpetunia-bloghop-collage1

First, I trimmed the watercolor paper into 2.25″ x 5.5″ and stamped the anchor on it. I created couple masks for the anchors and added on the stamped images, then I stamped the first wave image. Without moving the stamp on the lid, instead I moved the paper 1/5″ above and stamped the second wave under the first one. And I repeated it one more time for the third one. Next, I stamped the sentiment. What I love stamping Joy Clair stamp is they are clear and easy to do re-stamping with the MISTI to get crisp images and sentiment.

joyclair-mysweetpetunia-bloghop-collage2

Once the stamping all done, I started to colored the images with watercolor paint. And then I decided to add couple birds in the sky at the last minute ūüôā I colored them with light grey watercolor paint. I dried the finished panel with craft heater to make sure everything dried well before I put it on the card.

I added the patterned paper on the card base with Tombow mono permanent adhesive runner, and then I added the finished watercolored panel on the card with Tombow Xtreme adhesive. And my card is done ūüôā

STAMPlorations Things With Wings Blog Hop

Kicking of this Things With Wings¬†Blog Hop…¬†I created a mixed media card with some texture paste, Metallic Gelatos, stamping, and die cutting.

STAMPlorations Things With Wings Blog Hop

First, I added some texture paste on the background with the Delicate Links – ARTplorations Stencil, and then I added some of the Metallic Gelatos on it. I blended the colors with damp baby wipe. Then I run it through my die cutting machine with the largest size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

STAMPlorations Things With Wings Blog Hop

For the butterfly, I die cut both base and top of the Flutter Zen 1 Layering Dies РCUTplorations with 2 shades of pink cardstocks. And I only added glue in the middle of the butterfly and I fluffed the wings a little bit for 3D look.

The sentiment is from the Fond Expressions 2 РSherry Russ Designs. I stamped it on a white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and then cut it out and added it on the card with strong adhesive becuase it sits on tip of the stenciled texture paste background.

MMMC #35 – What’s Your Superpower?

Sending Prayers

Hello everyone… I am back again today with a new challenge for you, crafty friends.

This week challenge at Addicted To Stamps and More is Anything Goes. You can link up here any new projects that as long as follow the ATSM rules.

And here’s my take to this challenge. I created a clean-and-simple card with watercolor, stamp, and die cut.

Joy Clair - ATSM Challenge 236 Anything Goes

I created the background with Sakura Koi watercolor paint, plastic cling wrap and Perfect Pearl mixture spray. If you like to check out, this is¬†the tutorial¬†that I tried ūüôā I let it dried naturally, no heat gun. That what created the texture on the panel. And becuase I used Perfect Pearl mixture instead of regular water, the panel is also sparkly ūüôā

Once the panel dried, I run it through my die cutting machine with Double Stitched Rectangles Dies and Rectangles Dies.

Then using Mini MISTI and Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad, I stamped the dandelion from Spring Time Flowers Clear Stamps and the sentiment is from Hello Sentiments Clear Stamps.

I added them on the green card base with Scor-Tape and 3D foam tape for the middle panel for extra dimension.

That’s my card today… I hope you all will join the ATSM Challenge 236¬†this week. Visit ATSM blog to see more inspirations from the team.

THANK YOU for stopping by my blog.

Joy Clair April Challenge: Anything Goes, Photo Inspiration

Hello everyone… I am back again with second blog post today with a new monthly challenge with Joy Clair! Every month, it is¬†anything goes and picture inspiration challenge.

Check out this month’s photo inspiration! You need¬†to create a new project, any shape of cards base on the inspiration picture. You also can create your project base on the color combo. Just let your creativity flow ūüôā¬†You also can use any kind stamp sets you have in stash, but if you have Joy Clair stamps, we would love to see how you use them on your project, too ūüôā

Joy Clair April Challenge is open until April 29th, and the winner will be announced on April 30th. You can link up as many as you like with direct link to your project on your specific blog post or online gallery, not the your whole blog or gallery. Visit Joy Clair blog to see more inspirations from the design team!

Here are my cards for the April Challenge.¬†I was inspired by the oval shaped of the eggs when I created these 2 oval shaped cards for Mother’s Day.

Joy Clair April Challenge

First I die cut the card base with oval dies to create, then I cut out 2 more ovals out of watercolor paper for the front panels.

Then using my Mini MISTI, I stamped the flowers from Hugs and Smiles Clear Stamps with Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and watercolor them with Spectrum Noir Aqua markers and watercolor brush.

When the watercolored images dried, I stamped the sentiment from¬†Mother’s Day Clear Stamps¬†with Versafine Onyx Black ink pad with Mini MISTI, too. And then I added some of the white pearls and vintage pink pearl gems on each of the card.

I thought these cards need extra sparkle on them ūüôā So… I sprayed them with the mixture Perfect Pearl powder and water that I always have it handy in my mini mister spray bottle.

Joy Clair April Challenge

Look at all the shimmer and sparkle all over the cards ūüôā

I hope these cards will inspire you to create a project and join us at theJoy Clair April Challenge!

ODBD April New Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hello Everyone! April is here! I am so looking forward to spend more time outside the house with my daughters and enjoy Spring flowers around us.

Kicking of this new month, I am joining Our Daily Bread Designs for their April New Release blog hop today. I am so very thankful to be part of their amazing design team. This blog hop starts at ODBD Blog where you can find all the information about the new release, money-saving bundles and inspirations from the Design Team. And…. there is a giveaway for you… please read all the way to find out how you can enter!

For this blog hop, I created 2 projects: a card and a luminous lantern.

I created my card with the new To My Friend stamp set. This is one beautiful stamp set that you can create special handmade card just for your friends, to share the love and joy with them. I also use the new Lattice Background Die on the background.

I use the Pierced Rectangles Dies to cut 2 of the color burst watercolored panels and I heat-embossed the dandelion from To My Friend stamp set on the green panel and added some white pearl gems on it. For the sentiment, I stamped it on a white cardstock and die cut it with one of the Mini Label Dies.

Here’s a second card I created for my swap friend this month. The Bible verse is just perfect for celebrating our friendship.

On my second card, I used the sentiment from To My Friend stamp set, Tulips stamp set, Tulip Die, and Fence Die. The background panel I created with color burst powder and some perfect pearl mist.

My second project I created using the new Luminous Lantern Die, Roses Dies, and Rose Leaves Dies. If you like to make DIY home decor, this dies are perfect for you! You even can use them to create centerpiece and gifts.

On those roses, I added some glitter on them for extra sparkles on them ūüôā First, before I put them together, I added liquid glue on all over the edges of the petals and leaves and then sprinkle some of the glitter on them. I used fast dry glue for the glitter and using glue gun to put the flowers together (fast dry glue works great also for flowers).
