SOUS Die Cut Challenge: About My Home

Today I am sharing my project I created for this week Die Cut Challenge: Home Sweet Home at Stuck On U Sketches Blog.

This card I created using my Silhouette Cameo and the phrase is from Lori Whitlock design. First I drew a rectangle with size 4.25 inch x 5.5 inch. Then I opened the phrase and resized it to fit inside the rectangle.

I added on the card base from American Crafts card. I used Tombow Multi Mono Liquid Glue. The finer the tip of the glue pen is the better 🙂

I finish the card with the Red Enamel Heart from Close To My Heart.

And here’s what I do with the negative cuts:

Happy Mother’s Day & A Challenge

This week we are celebrating Moms over Stuck On U Sketches challenge blog! Today, I’d love to share with you a project I created for their new Die Cut Challenge this week. The theme is “Mom”, create any projects using diecuts and with the theme.

This time I made a watercolored card with Rose die cuts on it. I cut the Rose Lace Flourish out of White Daisy Cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo. First, I rezied them in 3 sizes and the cut them. After I cut the flowers, I trimmed the leaves off. Then I trace the flowers on a piece of watercolor paper. I started coloring inside the rose circles using Watercolor pencils and blended the colors using aqua brush, then I decided to add some light blue.

I am not patient enough to let the paper dries so I used my Craft Heater to speed it up. Once the paper was dry completely, I added the die cut roses using Tombow mono liquid glue using the fine tip.

The flowers needs something, so I took my Wink of Stella Glitter brush and added some glitter on them. And woalah! Love them! Soft and glittery now 🙂

While waiting for the glitter to completely dry, on a strip of vellum, I stamped the sentiment from Happy To Be Friends stamp set with VersaMark Ink Pad, added some Ranger Princess Gold Embossing powder and heat set it using Craft Heater. Using a adhesive runner I added the vellum paper on the watercolor paper, and then added them on the card base.

My card is pretty simple and I keep it less bulky. I hope you to see you playing with us this week! Link up your project here 🙂

You’re My Type

Today I would like to share my project that made for Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge this week. The theme is Industrial. You are challenge to create any projects that has die cuts such as: typewriter, gear, telephone, lamp, light, etc.

I created a card using my Silhouette Cameo. I cut the typewriter die cut from Jamie Koay, You’re My Type Typewriter out of a piece of White Daisy cardstock and added on the card using Martha Stewart ballpoint tip glue pen.

And I stamped the sentiment from Happy Everything stamp set on a piece of velum, heat-embossed it with Ranger White Embossing powder and Craft Heat Tool. I used Tombow Velum glue runner to glue the velum on the card. And I finished it with 2 CTMH chevron wood veneer (retired).

I hope you can play with us this week and I’d love to see your projects, too. You can link up using the Mister Linky HERE.

Thanks for visitng today!

Go and Do Amazing Things

Today I share my project at Stuck On U Sketches for their new Die Cut Challenge, “Clear Sky.” For this challenge, you can use any die cut shapes on your projects that you can find in the sky.

I am inspired by one of the Neat and Tangled Design Team members when I made this card:

I cut the Origami Map from Neat and Tangled using my WRMK Evolution Advanced machine. I picked rainbow colors of cardstocks I had in stash. Then stacked them, a little off set from one to another, using Tombow Mono Liquid Glue. I stamped the airplane and heart using CTMH White Daisy Pigment Ink Pad, drew the trace lines using Rolly Gel White Pen and stamped the sentiment using CTMH Black Exclusive Ink Pad. The sentiment, plane and heart are from the matching Origami Map stamp set. I finished my card with some sequins from Neat and Tangled, too.

DIY 3D Paper Succulents

Hello crafty friends, today I would love to share with you a project I did for SOUS Die Cut Challenge this week. The theme is In The Garden. You can use any die cut shapes on your project as long as it follows the theme.

I have this flower pot with foam inside. It was a pot of plastic hydrangea but they fell apart that is why I just took them off the pot and let my little daughter play with them. For while, I have been looking for inspiration what to do with it. And then I saw a post from Dawn Nicole’s DIY Paper Succulent Wall Art. She made pretty things using Silhouette Cameo. Check out her blog for lots of inspirations 🙂

3D Paper Succulents

I love succulents but so far I have not yet succeed to keep them alive long enough as they should. And this pot of succulents now sitting on the shelf in my craft room and they stay fresh without water 😀 LOL!
