I Love You Forever

Hello everyone…I am a Guest Designer at A Jillian Vance Design. I am still working on more Valentine’s Day project and today I am share this Clean-and-Simple, Valentine’s Day Card on their blog.

When I do not have specific themed papers in my stash, I love using stamps to create the background for my card. And today, I use the Heart Background Builder Cling Stamp for my background card. I stamped it on my Cranberry cardstock with the match Cranberry ink pad. Then I cut it off slightly smaller the size of A2 card base.

After that, I added some white acrylic paint splatters and gold paint splatters on that background panel. Set a side to dry while I was working on the embellishments and sentiment.

I stamped the stitched border from Cross Stitch Love Stamp Set with White Archival Ink Pad. Then I stamped the stitched hearts with Cranberry Ink Pad on a white cardstock and fussy cut them with micro-tip scissors.

The sentiment is from Cross Stitch Love Stamp Set, I stamped it on a piece of Cranberry cardstock with black ink pad and cut out the pennant tail with scissors.

I die cut the Circle Chain Border Die our of white cardstock. This die cuts you can use them as border individually or you can stack them together.

I added the background panel on the black card base with adhesive runner, next is the circle chain die cuts, next layer is the white twine. I then staples the 2 hearts together and added them on the card with thick glue dots. And then I added the sentiment pennant on the card with 3D foam tape. I finished the card with some pearl gems.

Here are the previews of the AJVD Stamp Sets and Die I used today:

That’s all for today 🙂 I hope you all like it and be inspired to create handmade card for Valentine’s Day. THANK YOU SO MUCH for visiting today and have fabulous day!
