Brave, Fierce and Free

I have been living in this country for over 8 years and I have been so blessed in many ways by God. This is the country that people called the land of freedom. For me, I believe to have freedom is actually comes with great responsibilities.

God has given us the life set free from the death and its stings through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. We are no longer slaves to sin, but we are servants of the Most High Lord of lords. We are set free to serve Him with our lives in freedom. And He does not want us to do it with our own strength and power because He knows well that we will fall again into the trap of the evil and imprison again. He gives us the most powerful Helper and Guide to help us and to guide in doing what He has called us to do every single day. We need to live our our salvation.

That is the true freedom. To live knowing by the grace of God we are saved and set free to live serving and honoring Him with the power of the Holy Spirit every day. Through that, we will shine in this dark world and we will be the salt to impact lives so that they may come to know the One and Only Father and God who live them.

Let’s live our free-given life in way to make much of Him! Do not take it for granted for what He has done to set us free and to bring us to live in this wonderful country for He always has amazing purposes and plans for each of His children. Trust in Him with all your heart and give to Him your plans!

So…. Today I am sharing 2 watercolor cards. The first on is reverse watercoloring technique, means that we watercolor outside the image. And second is watercolor technique, means we watercolor the image.

Reverse Watercoloring: Brave, Fierce and Free

My created a card today using the reverse watercoloring technique (tutorial here) with one of the Angie’s Girl stamps from Unity Stamp Company. I stamped the image and sentiment on the Canson Watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black and I added the watercoloring using Gansai Tambi watercolor with small round brush.

This is a one layer card and it is a quick one to make, too 🙂

And my second card is also using one of the stamps from Unity Stamp Company – May Kit Of The Month and the card base is from American Crafts.

Hello

I used the die from Craftin Dessert Diva for the mat and stamped the image. I watercolored it with Gansai Tambi. Then I added some glitter with Wink Of Stella on it. I finished my card with some clear gems.

Iced Coffee

Iced coffee is a great idea in this hot hot hot day, don’t you think? 😉

I hope you all have a fabulous and blessed weekend! Thank You for visiting my blog today.
