God Is Bigger Vintage Postcard

Hello hello hello it has been a while since my last blog post. Friends, God is bigger today and always, in any seasons. He is there for you and with you.

I love collecting postcards from any places we visited. But this month I have made several postcards and I am in love with making them. Today, I wanna share this God is Bigger Vintage Postcard I made.

I wanna share this mixed media God is Bigger Vintage Postcard today for our Vintage Vibes Instagram Hop! Come join us and hop along and comment for your chance to win a $25 gift code. Hop starts at Creative Worship Stamps Instagram. The winner will be announced September 26, 2025, on Creative Worship Stamps IG.

I made this mixed media vintage postcard using Creative Worship Stamps supplies:

  • Vintage Floral Collection Stamp Set [NEW]
  • Vintage Postcards Stamp Set [NEW]
  • Typed Thoughts Stamp Set [NEW]
  • Clipboard Stamp Set [NEW]
  • Decorative Frame Toppers Stamp Set
  • Lines and Crosses Stencil
  • Vintage Collage Line Art Printable Digital [NEW]

The other supplies also available at Creative Worship Stamps shop that I used are:

  • Distress Watercolor Pencils set 2
  • Distress Oxide inks (Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo)
  • VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad
  • VersaMark ink pad
  • White Gesso
  • EK Success Small Precision Scissors
  • Art Glitter Glue Designer Dries Clear Adhesive

I had fun creating the backgrounds with digital print, white gesso, smooshing and splatters techniques using Distress Watercolor Pencils and Distress Oxide.

I did no-line stamping & watercolor for those flower and butterfly with Distress Watercolor Pencils and some water. After I stamped them, I dried the watercolor paint with a craft heat gun and then fussy cut them with scissors.

I used VersaFine Onyx Black for stamping the clipboard image and sentiment. I dried the stamped image with a craft heat gun and then fussy cut it with scissors. I stamped again just the top of the clipboard with VersaMark ink pad and added some gold embossing powder on it and heat it up. I colored part of the clip with the Silver Uni-Ball Signo Gel Pen. After that, I fussy cut just the clip and added it to the clipboard image with adhesive glue. I also colored the edges of the clipboard image with the Gold Uni-Ball Signo Gel Pen.

On the other side of the post card, I also used smooshing and splatter technique to create the background using Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink pads. I dabbed off the water with paper towel and dried it with a craft heat gun.

Then I stamped the images and sentiments on it using Mini MISTI tool and VersaFine Onyx Black.

For the address lines, I used the Lines and Crosses stencil and Micron Pen 03.

Although this postcard has some layered images, it is still flat enough to be sent out as regular postcard, no extra cost for stamp.

For sure handmade postcards have their own special way of sending message. I am planning to make more of them so I will have them ready to be sent out at any time for any occasions.

I hope you all enjoy it today. Thank you for hopping by today! Have a fabulous day!

Mixed Media Vintage Postal Hello Card

Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you this mixed media vintage postal hello card.

I made this card to participate at the Creative Worship Stamps May Release Instagram Hop. We’re showcasing products from this month’s amazing release that includes flowers, butterflies, sentiments, backgrounds, and more.

Today, on my card, I used these stamp sets, die sets, and stencil from Creative Worship Stamps:

  • Bold Bloom Stencil
  • Postage Stamp Cover Plate Die Set
  • Hello & Smile Word Die Set
  • Sketched Roses Stamp Set
  • Vintage Sheet Music Tile Stamp Set
  • Vintage Postage Stamp Set
  • Going Postal Stamp Set

All images for the background were stamped with VersaFine Clair ink pads on heavyweight white cardstock. I used smooshing technique to add distress vintage look to the background panel with some Vintage Photo Distress ink and water. After drying it with a craft heater gun, I cut it with the Postage Stamp Cover Plate Die. I wrapped around some of the burlap twine on the postal background panel and added it to the card base with permanent adhesive glue.

I stamp the flower and leaves images on a piece of watercolor paper and then watercoloring with Distress inks. I fussy cut them with scissors. I added to the card with permanent adhesive glue and thin foam tape for extra dimension to some petals and leaves.

And for the sentiment word, I cut out the word Hello out of a piece of heavyweight cardstock and then I added some metallic glossy look with VersaMark Dazzle Frost and clear embossing powder. I added to the card with foam tape.

I added some splatters on the background with Finetec Gold and Silver Pearless Watercolors using a fan paint brush and added some of the Altenew White Craft Spray using small round brush.

I dried the whole panel again with the craft heat gun just to make sure the splatter paints dry well.

Hop along with us and comment for your chance to win a $25 gift code to Creative Worship Stamps store. The Instagram Hop starts at HERE and follow the steps there. The winner will be announced May 14, 2025, on Creative Worship Stamps IG.
