Jingle All The Way

Hello dear friends… first of all, I would like to THANK YOU ALL, for all who served the country. Your love, courage and bravery have given this country the freedom to live in. I thank God for those who fought and sacrified their lives at wars to defend this country, too. Thank God for the freedom given to us through Jesus Christ.

“Are you a slave? Don’t let that worry you—but if you get a chance to be free, take it. And remember, if you were a slave when the Lord called you, you are now free in the Lord. And if you were free when the Lord called you, you are now a slave of Christ. God paid a high price for you, so don’t be enslaved by the world.” (‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭7:21-23‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

I am so very thankful the love of God shown to us by sending His only Son to us. We sing the songs of joy to celebrate Him. Christmas is special because we have Christ in our lives! He is the One we celebrate in this season.

Today is an inspiration day with Our Daily Bread Designs. I do not always making layered card but today’s card has some layers on it with watercoloring, diecutting and stamping.

I diecut embossed one of the papers from Snowflake Season Paper Collection with the Double Stitched Rectangles Dies. I added it as the first layer background on the card. And the second layer, I die-cut and embossed another snowflake patterned paper from the same paper collection with Rectangles Dies. I love the embossed details on these patterned papers.

Then I die-cut and embossed a white cardstock with one of the Ornate Ovals Dies. I stamped the sentiment from Jingle Bell Time stamp set on it with red ink a little bit off to the left. Then I added it on the card with adhesive.

Om a piece Canson watercolor paper, I stamped the jingle bell cluster image from the Jingle Bell Time stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink and then I watercolored it with Spectrum Noir Aqua markers and watercolor brush. After the watercolored jingle bell dries, I added some glitter on it with Wink of Stella glitter brush, and then I fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors.

I added the jingle bell image on the right top of the ornate label with 3D foam tape for some dimension. I finished the card with some clear gems for more extra bling on this card 😉

This layered card is totally out of my style and comfort zone, but I had fun and joy creating it while listening to some Christmas songs 🙂
