Welcome to the Joy Clair & My Sweet Petunia’s Misti Blog Hop! We are so glad you joined us for this fun collaboration blog hop. We have two different design teams, full of talented ladies that will surely inspire you along the way. And of course amazing prizes to share with you!!!

For this blog hop, I made a watercolored card I using Anchor of Hope Bible Journaling Clear Stamps, My Redeemer Bible Journaling Clear Stamps, Mini MISTI stamping tool, Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad, Sakura Koi Water Colors Travel Kit, Canson Watercolor Paper, CTMH Designer Paper (retired).

For papercrafters who love making cards, tags or bo0kmarks, My Sweet Petunia – Mini MISTI is great stamping tool. I love the size that is compact and small enough, even for traveling 🙂 And Joy Clair stamps are high quality clear stamps and they have great designs for every day occasions, seasonal, and for Bible journaling.

First, I trimmed the watercolor paper into 2.25″ x 5.5″ and stamped the anchor on it. I created couple masks for the anchors and added on the stamped images, then I stamped the first wave image. Without moving the stamp on the lid, instead I moved the paper 1/5″ above and stamped the second wave under the first one. And I repeated it one more time for the third one. Next, I stamped the sentiment. What I love stamping Joy Clair stamp is they are clear and easy to do re-stamping with the MISTI to get crisp images and sentiment.

Once the stamping all done, I started to colored the images with watercolor paint. And then I decided to add couple birds in the sky at the last minute 🙂 I colored them with light grey watercolor paint. I dried the finished panel with craft heater to make sure everything dried well before I put it on the card.

I added the patterned paper on the card base with Tombow mono permanent adhesive runner, and then I added the finished watercolored panel on the card with Tombow Xtreme adhesive. And my card is done 🙂

  1. I love your card and I will so be ordering the Hope Anchor’s the Soul stamp set. I need that for Bible journaling. Thank you so much for sharing.

  2. Helen, your card is so gorgeous! That looks to be a wonderful stamp set. And, I know I use my large Misti a lot. It sure helps in card making. I don’t have the corners though, so that might be something I should look into.
