Merry, Merry Christmas

Today’s card is still about Christmas. I go with simple, clean, watercolor, and fussy cut.

Merry, Merry Christmas | Handmade by Helen Gullett #christmascard #cardmaking #handmadecard #watercoloring #stamping

I use Canson Watercolor paper 14o lbs as the card base. Making this card is very easy.

First, add watercolor on directly on the card base since it is a watercolor paper 🙂 I used Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I add some the ink on an stamping block and then I picked the color using Aquash Watercolor Brush. Then, using smallest brush, I dropped some water directly on the watercolored area then dapped it with paper towel for more distress look.

You can set aside to dry or speedy drying it up using craft heater while stamping the wreath and the banner.

On a piece of White Daisy cardstock (CTMH), stamp the wreath from Harvest Wreath (CTMH) using Topiary Exclusive Ink Pad (CTMH) and then stamp the banner from Merry Merry stamp set (CTMH) using Ruby Exclusive Ink Pad (CTMH). I cut part of the wreath as seen on the picture, then I fussy cut the wreath outline and the inside. I did the same thing with the banner.

When the watercolor card based is dry completely, add the wreath on the card base by align the side that is cut with the side of the card. Then add the banner on top of the wreath. On my card, I used 3D Foam Tape to give them some dimension.

And the card is done.

  1. I am so grateful for your burdened heart and love for the unsaved people of the world, and I stop by each day to pray for the unreached. I pray that God will reach their hearts with His salvation and love to save them from the torture of Hell, and the beauty of Heaven. What a Christmas gift that would be to know that someone has found Jesus and received eternal life.

I would LOVE to have you stop by and follow my blog. I am a sister in the Lord Jesus Christ. I hope you will stop by and follow my blog.
