Mother’s Day Card: There’s No One Like You

April showers bring May flowers. That the quote of the month 😄 I love seeing more flowers and today I am sharing more Mother’s Day cards with flowers…

Both cards I stamp the Antique Rose Stem from Hero Arts with Distress Mini Ink Pads. I dabbed each color directly on the stamp. It is one advantage of using mini pad. Then I spray with some water. Just enough water, cannot be too much or less. And then stamp on Canson Watercolor paper that I used as the card bases.

There's No One Like You

The first card is the first generation stamping. It looks brighter.

And the second card is the second generation stamping. So, right after stamping on the first card, without adding any inks or water, stamp the image right away on the second card.

There's No One Like You

The second generation stamping gives softer colors.

I added some splatter on the background using Gansai Tambi watercolor paint and some clear sequins (gift from my crafty friend) that I added them on the card using Tombow Mono Liquid Glue.

On 1.25″ x 2.75″ Black cardstock pieces, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Blossoming Expressions stamp set (CTMH), cut the dove tail with Micro-Tip scissors and I added them on the cards using 3D foam tape.

I love the watercolor look from Distress Inks 🙂

Thank You so much for visiting my blog today!
