Happy Easter From Us To You

HAPPY EASTER TO YOU ALL FROM ALL OF US! Jesus Christ is risen from the death. He overcome the sin and death. The new life and victory in Jesus is given to all of us who believe in Him.

“O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”

For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power.

But thank God!

He gives us victory over sin and death

through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

(1 Corinthians 15:55-57)

What a joy and celebration we have today. Our prayer that God will continue to work in you with his might power that rose Jesus from the death to walk day by day in victory.

Today we also celebrating a new life given to our first daughter. She declared her faith and was baptized this morning during the Easter service! Praise God for His amazing love and works in her life. We are so thankful for our church family and spiritual supports she has received from her teachers, too.

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.” (‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17-18‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Our prayer for her to continue her journey with God. Asking God to give her a new heart that love Him and serve Him with her life. Asking God to reveal Himself to her in her every day walk with Him. And that He will continue His works in and through her life until Jesus come back in His glory. We also ask of you all would join us in prayer for her, too.

After church service, we went to have family dinner. And then when we got home, we had a fun egg-coloring with the girls. We tried something different this time. We got a simple egg-dye kit. Dave knew how to do this better than me 😀

After color-dyeing all the eggs, the girls decided to doodle and put some stickers on them. Super fun! And even my husband started a new “BIG” thing… Selfie Egg!!!

Once all the eggs were decorated, we sent the girls to their bedroom so we could hide all the eggs in our backyard for their egg hunt fun time.

We are so thankful for the day is given by God to rejoice and celebrate His love and goodness in our life. We hope you all have a blessed new week!

Caring Hearts Card Drive 2016

Caring Hearts Card Drive 2016

This is the 7th year of the annual Caring Hearts Card Drive! This is an amazing card drive started by Vera Yates 7 years ago in honor of her mom’s request. She has a beautiful story and purpose behind it:

The holidays are about family, kindness, and joy. During this time many of the elderly who lives in nursing homes would really feel the loneliness or missing their family. Wouldn’t it be so awesome if we can bring a smile to their face & brighten their holiday season simply by sharing our love of card making? A simple gesture to let them know that they are not forgotten. That someone still thinking of them.

Isn’t that a beautiful reason to create extra handmade Holiday cards and send them to the those who are staying at nursing homes during the Holidays?

If you are making Christmas cards, please make extra for this purpose. There are important details to check out and information at Vera’s blog.

And I hope you will be participating this year to bring cheers and joy to them.

THANK YOU so much for visiting today!

ADORNit ‘it’ Girl And Blessed Friends Ambassadors

I am so thankful to God for giving me an opportunity to work and serve at home and from home. Because of that I can have time to create projects.

When I look back to the crafting, scrapbooking, papercrafting, cardmaking, mixed media, and Bible Journaling projects, all I can do is giving thanks for my husband who always encourage and support me in this journey, and my daughters who never stop inspire me with their loves and everyday smile. Also, there are so many people that have helped me to step out of my comfort zone and grow. I am thankful for so many video tutorials and even only picture tutorials on blogs, YouTube, craft forums, and being part of amazing design teams. But I always open to learn and explore!

The Best Of 2015: To Live And To Walk By Faith

It’s been a wonderful, fruitful and full of unexpected things year for us. God was in every single thing that happened in our family in 2015. We felt His presence and loving kindness in each day, when we laughed and when we cried. He held us in His hands and never let us fall.

My word in 2015 is FAITH. I learned to live by faith in every step I made in 2015, I am walking by faith and pray God will continue giving me and my family the desire and power to walk in and by faith in 2016, and forward. This taught me that living by faith is about giving God all the control in my life and situations, it’s about letting God taking over my life completly, and it’s about submitting my life in obedience to His word and commands.

Walking by faith is walking in knowing the God Almighty, my Heavenly Father, knows what He’s doing in our lives and He’ll fulfill His own plan in and through us.

Only through prayers and faith in His own plan, we saw how God provided the ways for us to go through 2015 and went on a short missiom trip to *Indones!a*. We recieved more than we expected.

And only by faith in Him we learned why we received answered prayers that were not what we wanted to be. God knows way better than us how to deal with our situations. And next year, 2016, we have plans that we put everything under His feet and wait for Him.

This has been a year of experiencing His faithfulness. Here are the best highlights of our 2015:

Hello Spring

hello-spring-560x420

Since a couple of weeks ago, our oldest daughter who is in Kindergarten and can read now, kept telling us almost every day when is the first day of Spring. I asked, “How do you know that March 20th is first day of Spring?” She replied, “I read it on my calendar. It says Spring begins on March 20th.” I went to check and sure enough she was right 🙂

So, Spring begins today, officially… But we have been nice days since Monday (3/16/15). It was raining on Thursday and Friday, but this week was great.

I have some pictures to share with you that I created these digital layout using Picture Life App with my iPhone. All pictures I took using my phone, too.

Look, the winter is past,
and the rains are over and gone.
The flowers are springing up,
the season of singing birds has come,
and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air.
(Song of Songs 2:11-12, NLT)

HAPPY SPRING ALL!!!!
