ODBD December New Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hello everyone.. December is here! I am so super excited because it is one of my favorite months 😀 It is a joyful and festive month for us.

And… today is exciting becuase I am joining Our Daily Bread Designs for their December New Release Blog Hop. Also… there is a chance for you to win one of the 3 (three) $25 gift card to ODBD store. Keep reading to find out how you can win!

I created 2 cards for today blog hop. On my first card, I am using the new Pennat Flag Verses clear stamp set, Pennant Flags Dies, and Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies. The papers I am using on this card are Beautiful Boho Collection and Boho Bolds Paper Pad. They are 6 x 6 paper pads, perfect size for cardmaking projects.

I die cut some of the pennants with the Pennant Flags Dies, and Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies, and then I stamped the sentiment from  Pennat Flag Verses clear stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black on the bigger pennant.

I cut out the plaid patterend paper and added it on the front card base. Then I die cut the flower patterned paper with one of the ODBD Custom Die – Rectangles Dies. I use natural twine to tie the pennants around the die cut panel and add a clear gem. Then I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

I also stamped a sentiment inside the card using the Pennat Flag Verses clear stamp set with TE – Jelly Donut Ink Pad. It still has plenty space for writing extra message, too.

On my second card, I am using the new Handle With Prayer rubber stamp set, Praying Hands Die, and Prayering Border Die. The papers I am using for this card is Chalkboard Collection 6×6 paper pad.

First, I trimmed one of the patterned papers as big as the size of A2 card base. And then I die cut it with ODBD Custom Dies – Double Stitched Rectangles Dies. I added the first frame panel on an A2 white card base with Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue and then the second die cut panel in the middle but slightly diagonal with the same glue. Set a side to dry.

I stamped the Praying Hands image from Handle With Prayer rubber stamp set on Canson watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Then I colored it with Spectrum Noir – Aqua Markers and watercolor brush. Once the image dried, I run it through my die cutting machine with the matching Praying Hands Die. I added it on the center of the card with some 3D foam tape to give extra dimension.

And I cut out the Prayering Border Die with heavy weight white cardstock and I trimmed the extra border to fit in the frame. I used Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue to add it on the card right under the Praying Hands.

I also stamped the Praying Hands with softer ink on the inside card, then stamped 2 of the sentiments from the Handle With Prayer rubber stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black on top of the praying hands image. I love the messages on this stamp set.
