Our Daily Bread Designs Special Holiday Blog Hop and Giveaway

I love Christmas and this holiday is special because we are celebrating the One who was sent to save us and was born to give freedom to all of us from our sin slavery. His name is Jesus. He is the reason for this special holiday season. We are celebrating the life, the great plan and the victory given by God through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

He is the Mighty God, the Immanuel, the Savior, the Redeemer, the Great Counselor, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, the Ruler of everything, the King of kings, the Healer, the Light of the World. The World created by Him and in Him.

To celebrate this special Christmas, Our Daily Bread Designs has a Special Holiday New Release! In this release, Our Daily Bread Designs is also giving away a $25 gift code to the store, please keep reading to find out how to enter 🙂 Visit ODBD blog to see the full details on this new release and inspirations from the Design Team.

Aren’t they beautiful papers, stamps and die sets? Today I am sharing these 2 cards using those new Holiday sets. On this first card, I also used the Snowflake Sky Die and Layer Lacey Ovals Dies along with the Christmas Ornament clear stamp setChristmas Ornament Die, and the new Holly Jolly Collection Paper Pad.

I did double heat-embossed the Christmas Ornament on Canson Watercolor Paper and watercolored it with Koi Watercolor paint. And then I die-cut it with the matching Christmas Ornament Die.

And I love ODBD dies. They are not only for die cutting, but also for embossing and stenciling. On this card, I embossed the Snowflake Sky Die and the Layer Lacey Ovals Dies after I die-cut them. You can see the details on the papers.

On the second card, I created a partial die cutting zig-zag fold card. I found a tutorial from Jennifer to created this card. I used the Oval Dies for the partial die-cutting and the foil green mat. I cut out the red foil paper using the Holly Oval Die and added it on it. I love this patterned paper from the new Holly Jolly Collection Paper Pad. It has that beautiful border holly leaves, bells and snowflakes with the plaid patterned background. Just gorgeous!

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Ornament clear stamp set on the front and inside card using archival black ink pad and red ink pad. I added some silver sequins and clear gems for extra bling on the card.

And I also embossed both the Holly Oval Die and Oval Dies after I die cut them to give extra detail on the foil cardstocks I used.

Here how it look when I fold it flat into A2 size card and will fit in a regular size envelope.
