Hello everyone… Welcome to Precious Remembrance Shop and Imagine Crafts Blog Hop! This is a collaboration blog hop from Precious Remembrance Shop Design Team and Imagine Crafts Design Team.
End of school year is getting so close and we love our school bus driver. He is totally awesome. So… we got some XL and Giant Chocolate Bars (He’s gonna love them!!!) and I put them inside the Plain White Flat Paper Bag which is perfect for any kind gift.
My project today is a thank you card for school bus driver that I created using School Days Stamp Set, Totally Stamp Set, and VersaFine Clair ink Pads!
I started with creating the background. On a white cardstock, I stamped the phrase “i (heart heart hear) school” from the School Days Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair Purple Delight Ink Pad using MISTI and Creative Corners.
After done stamping the background, I cut it with one of the scallop rectangle die set I have in stash. I added the background panel on the card with E-Z Runner Grand runner.
I cut a piece of vellum paper with the smaller scallop rectangle die and added it on the card with dries-clear adhesive glue.
I stamped the school bus image from the School Days Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad on a white cardstock and then I dries it with craft heater. I colored the bus with alcohol markers. After that, I fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors. I added the bus on top of the vellum paper with adhesive glue.
Then I decided to add some liquid glads glue on the headlights to give it some extra glossy look on them. I let it sit flat on my craft table to dry. It tool couple hours to really dry.
For the sentiments, I stamped the word “thanks” from School Days Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad and I fussy cut it. And I stamped another sentiment “you are awesome” from the same stamp set using VersaFine Clair Cheerful Ink Pad, and I trimmed it into sentiment strip.
I added both sentiments on the card with the dries-clear adhesive glue and I finished the card by adding the three Sweet Lavender Buttons on it with the dries-clear adhesive glue.
