Sending A Whole Latte Love

July is getting closer… Can’t you believe that? I feel time just flies so fast when we have fun 🙂 Like my daughters always say, “Fun In The Sun” when they are outside and swimming in the lake. I hope you all have a fabulous Summer so far…

Today’s card is another one layer and CAS card. This time I created the background with the technique called Ghosting. I’ve been wanting to try this technique because it is fun watching the image revealed. You can find some tutorials about this technique on YouTube. Here are some that I like:

I added some Distress Inks (Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Fire Brick, and Crushed Olive) on the Canson Watercolor paper with make up sponge. I blended them as I added the colors. Then I laid ARTplorations – Retro Circles stencil and lightly spray water on it. Cannot be too much water because it can create a pool of water under the stencil and it won’t get the impression. After that letting it sat for couple seconds, carefully I dabbed all over with paper towel without moving the stencil and then lifted up the stencil. Woalah! Love the background 🙂

I stamped the image and sentiment from STAMPlorations – Latte Love with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I finished the card with some dark brown sequins.

This one quick way of making card with stamp and stencil. I hope you like the card today and THANK YOU for stopping by.

Have a fabulous and blessed day!

  1. Beautiful card, love the effect of the circles on the card. Makes me think of coffee when you put it on the tab;e and theres moisture on the bottom and it leaves a mark. So perfect stencil for this card.

  2. Great card! Referencing the YouTube videos, you wrote “here are some that I like” but I don’t see any links? (It could be me, not you!)
