Snow Crystals Christmas Greetings 2 Ways

Christmas is getting closer…. It is 49 days away from today! I am still catching up with Christmas cards this month 🙂

Today, I am sharing 2 cards using 1 die set, 1 stamp set and paper pack. I like to make multiple cards from the same stamp, die sets and papers while I have them out. They can be different style and design. Totally up to you too.

On these 2 cards today I am using the new November paper collection, stamp set and die set from Our Daily Bread Designs: Jingle Bell Time rubber stamp set, Snow Crystals Dies, Snowflake Season Collection Paper Pad.

On the first card above, I went with clean and simple design. diecuts the snow crystals from American Craft silver glitter cardstock with my WRMK Evolution Advanced. After I diecut them, I run it through again with embossing mat to give extra embossed detail on them. On a A2 white card base, I added a strip of the Snowflake Season papers. I picked the stripes one for this card. Then I added the snow crystals on the card. I stamped the sentiment from Jingle Bell Time stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black with my MISTI so I could do double stamping to get crisp and bold result.

On the second card today, I created the galaxy background with Mini Distress ink pads and some water. I love making watercolored and galaxy background lately 🙂 For this technique with water, I used Canson Watercolor paper as the card base. This is a one layer card. I die-cut the snow crystals from Darice 110 lbs white cardstock. I did the same step: die-cut and emboss to get the details on them. Once the background dried well, I added the snow crystals all on the card and then I heat-embossed the same stamp set on the card directly with Ranger Princess Gold embossing powder. Then I wrapped some of the natural twine from May Arts Ribbon.

With the same supplies, I can created couple cards instead of only one 🙂 What about you? Do you have tips to share about cardmaking and mass-produce cards?
