It has been raining in the last two days and the temperature is colder than what we think Spring temperature would be. I saw some pictures of my friends on Instagram and Facebook that they got snow! Snow! In Spring time! I think the weather is a bit confuse…
But some tulips are already bloomed in our little garden at the front yard. They give some colors to the view out side the window for sure.
Inspired by some of those blooming flowers, today no matter how cold outside is, I am still in the Spring mood 🙂 and working with a set of these flower cards.
For these cards, all I did was stamping, embossing and coloring them.
On kraft cardstocks, I stamped Blossomy Condolences stamp from Unity Stamp Co. With MISTI, I can stamp the flowers 4 times at the same spot.
Then I heat embossed those images using Ranger White embossing powder, then colored them using Prismacolor pencils.
I added some Vintage Photo distress ink at all the edges. The background is Tim Holtz Idea-ology tissue paper that I added them on the cardbases using glue sticks.
I added the kraft panels on the card using 3D foam tape for some dimensions.
And finished them with some splatter of white paint from Gansai Tambi set and some small clear gems.
This card set is one of my favorites and coloring on kraft cardstock is something new for me but I love the result 🙂
Thank You so much for visiting today and hope you’ll find inspiration to create something beautiful today!

I am one of those friends who is bemoaning the bloody snow. GRRRRR! However, tomorrow it’s supposed to warm up to almost 60 – which is a 40 degree difference from today! Woohooo!
But I digress, I loooove the nontraditional color pairing here. Whoever said black and brown don’t mix – you just proved them WAY wrong. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us at STAMPlorations!
