Mixed Media Tag STAMPlorations Typografia Christmas Blog Hop and Blog Hop

Hello everyone…I know it is October and we are enjoying the beautiful Fall season, but… it also means that Christmas is getting closer.

Today, we are at STAMPloratios has a small blog hop featuring the new Typografia Christmas collection. I am thankful to be part of this special event and 3 mixed media tags to share with you.

I used the Angles Oh High, Blessed Christmas, and Miracle of Christmas to create these 3 mixed media tags:

I die cut the tags using Luggage Tags Nesting Dies – CUTplorations, the larges die and white heavy weight cardstock.

Next I stamped each sentiment on each tag using red, black, and green archival ink pads.

Then I added Distress inks on each tag. I used the Mowed Lawn and Fired Brick on the tags. And then I sprayed with some water and dabbed if of the tags to create the distressed background.

I also used the Stitched Winter Landscape Die – CUTplorations on one of the tag. I then colored it with Wink Of Stella Gold Metallic Brush Pen and added some snow on the trees with White Gel Pen.

I finished each tag with some sequins: Gold assortment and Christmas assortment.

And my tags are done.

  3. I love how you used these big new sentiments on the luggage tags! Really allowed the bold fonts to take centre stage. I think I need to get a few of these new sentiment stamps for my holiday tags!

  4. Gorgeous sponged with distress inks backgrounds for each of your beautiful tags, Helen. I have the tag die set and I am thrilled to see how the typografia stamps fit beautifully on the largest tag. Now I know for sure I “Need” the new stamps. TFS Hugs..
