You’re So Thoughtful

Hello everyone… we kindda hope the winter will be end soon because my youngest and I are having cabin fever now… and I need more inspirations from the nature and outdoors 🙂

When I need some mojo to create, I often go to Pinterest and search for some fresh inspirations. I like color hues and pictures. And for today card, I am inspired by these 2 color combo hues:

Base on the color palettes above, I created this card with Our Daily Bread Design Double Stitched Rectangles Dies, Concord & 9th stamp set and die cut sets, and Tombow Dual Brush pens 🙂

For the background, I use DCVW metallic gold paper. And I used Canson watercolor paper for the heart, flower and word die cuts.

I stamped the word “thoughtful” with Tombow Dual Brush pen and sprayed some water on it. And then I watercoloring the shade of blue Tombow Dual Brush pens for the heart and flower.

As for the sentiment, I stamped the word “You’re So” on a white cardstock with black archival ink and cut out with scissors.

I added the heart and flower on the card with liquid glue, and using 3D foam tape for the sentiment die cut and sentiment strip. Then I finished my card with some clear dropplets.

That’s for my card today. So, if you need some mojo to create, where do you find it? I’d love to know 🙂

THANKS a bunch for visiting me today and have a fabulous day!

  1. Helen, your card is ever so lovely with the pretty heart, the eye-catching die-cut sentiment and the sprig of flowers. Placing these elements on the gold…oh my! Swooning! You’ve certainly done justice to your inspiration sources!
