2019 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 1 | Coffee and Jesus

Hello again everyone… Today is the day all the coffee/tea/cocoa lovers has been waiting for. The 2019 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop has begun!

This blog hop is hosted by the Coffee Loving Cardmakers! It starts from Friday, May 3, 2019 until Friday, May 10, 2019. You all are invited to create any coffee/tea/cocoa projects with Spring or Summer theme and link up your projects with us HERE until Friday, May 10th at 11:55 pm pacific. Here’s my card that I created using the Coffee & Jesus stamp set, It is a pre-released new stamp set from Joy Clair Stamps.

I stamped the cup on a white cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne and then I colored it with Arteza Watercolor Pencils and water brush. Then, I stamped the sentiment on the cup with VersaFine Clair Charming Pink ink pad. I dried the cup with craft heater and then I fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors.

For the sentiment, I stamped and heat embossed it with WOW Gold Embossing Powder, who is also a Super Sponsor.

On the background, I use the one of the Gold Marble cardstocks from Bazzill. I trimmed it to fit on an A2 card (4.25″ x 5.5″).

For the frames, I die cut several of the Bazzill cardstock using Pierced Squares Dies from Divinity Designs, who is also a Super Sponsor for this blog hop.

I use the E-Z Runner® Grand Adhesive to add the background panel and frames on the card, and 3D Foam Tape to add the cup and sentiment on the card.

  6. Such a pretty card, Helen. I recognize that paper (it’s different color than what I was given and my colors I felt too dark for Spring) but I have been SO blessed by all the papers from Bazzill Basics. I also LOVE this new Coffee & Jesus from Joy Clair, and you’ve done a wonderful job showcasing it today. This is lovely. I’m super excited about the entire New Release coming to Joy Clair this month, and I know our stamping community will LOVE them as well. I always look forward to seeing your creativity. I hope you are having a blessed week.
