For the first time this month I am joining Kathy Racoosin’s 30-days coloring challenge. It is a challenge for me for sure because it is not only for me to practice my coloring skill, but also, it is a fun time for me and my daughters to do art together!
If you are new to this 30-days coloring challenge like me, you can read all about it here. Kathy is an amazing coloring artist, she also share tips & tutorials on her blog. You also can link up your coloring projects on her blog or share it on social media, like Instagram using the hashtag #thedailymarker30day.
This first week, I was able to finish 3 coloring projects. The first two pages are from Growing Through Prayer Study And Journal Book. oh yes, this study book includes coloring pages! It is also available for kids.
The first page above, I colored it using coloring pencils I got from Target when we went school-supplies shopping back in the Fall. They are great coloring pencils and work well to do simple shadowing.
The second page below I colored it using Sakura Gelly Roll Metallic Pens! I had fun time coloring it. It is sparkly and metallic-y 😀 But the downside is that it bleed through the pages becuase it is regular book printing pages. So, I would suggest to use coloring pencils only.
The third page is from Adornit ArtPlay Coloring Book – Chamberry that I colored using Loew Cornell watercolor cakes. This is gorgeous and high quality coloring book! This page is ready to be put on the frame.

Spending 5-15 minutes a day just to color sounds so relaxing and fun, doesn’t it? I hope you will join this challenge, too 🙂
Have a fabulius weekend and Thank you for stopping by!

Oh, Helen, I just love these coloring pages! I so love them when they are spiritually related. I appreciate your sharing the experience you’ve had with the different coloring mediums. I’ve been thinking about doing some coloring just for the relaxation of it and have some books and some images I’ve purchased from Karla Dornacher’s Etsy Shop. Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting on my last card. I also need to visit your SCS gallery too. Hugs, sweet friend! You are such an encouragement!
Thank You so much, Cheryl! I always love seeing you here. I try my best to post projects on SCS gallery 😀 It’s been a while since January LOL! Blessings to you, my friend!
