Hello everyone! It is time for a new anything goes with dies. And today, I have this CAS Hugs card to share with you all.
I used the Concord & 9th – Layer Love Dies for the background. I cut out a piece of watercolor paper with the stripe heart die and the added it on a purple card base using Dries Clear permanent glue adhesive.
The sentiment is from Divinity Designs – Hugs Stamp/Die Duo. I stamped it under the heart with VersaFine Clair ink pad and Mini MISTI.
I cut out couple dark purple cardstock using the Hugs word die from the same stamp/die duo set. I stacked them together with Dries Clear permanent adhesive glue to create the chipboard look – word sentiment. I added the hugs word sentiment on the card with 3D foam tape.
I cut out several mini flower petals from the Divinity Designs – Roses Dies out of soft pink cardstock. I used my embossing tool to curl the petals and added them on the card with permanent glue adhesive. I added some mini gems on the flowers for extra bling.
I hope you can find time to play along with this challenge. I’d like to see your projects, too. Thank you for stopping by.
So beautiful and it shows that hearts work for any time and any age. Hugs do too!
I LOVE this…how gorgeous!!
Your card is so pretty, Helen! The lovely colour you’ve used makes it so soft and delicate looking! 🙂
