A Snowy Week

After having one and half week with sicky kiddo, and has been snowing in the last 7 days & the Big Girl’s school canceled for the whole week, I am ready to go out somewhere. But we are still expecting more snow and ice in the next week.

The girls and Papa had fun playing snow with their Papa. But I could not handle the cold to long. I was only outside to take some pictures and run back inside! I love snow because it is pretty covering everything, but not the cold!

And inside the house, beside they have been watching TV, playing, fighting over a toy, dressing up, the girls and I have been working on some fun crafty stuff to spend time together and so the mama is still sane 🙂

The girls’ projects:

You can see my girls did more projects than I did 🙂 Crafting time with them is one of my favorite things to do with them.

And here are my projects:

Pin/Needle Cushion Mason Jars by Helen Gullett http://helengullet.com

I am so happy finally can make some mason jar pin & needle cushions for my sewing project. I found this tutorial on e-How blog but instead of sewing, I used glue gun. Quick and easy.

How’s your week so far? Did you have lots of snow or not?

I hope you’ll have a good weekend!

  1. Such sweet pictures! Glad your husband and your girls were able to spend time and have some fun in the snow. I, too, don’t go outside as much in the winter for this very reason: the COLD! All lovely projects, both yours and your girls! I don’t do much sewing except on cards, but your Mason Jar Pin Cushion is fabulous! Have a fantastic week!
