Slimline Father’s Day Card For The Best Papa

Hello artzy friends…Father’s Day is just around the corner. Today, I would like to share an idea for a Father’s Day card.

I made this CAS slimline card using new Triangle Accent Foil PlateWavy Slimline Framelit DiesSlim Mini Wavy Layers Dies, and Special Family Stamp Set

The new Hot Foil Plates are amazing for creating stunning background accents. You can use any hot foiling machines you have with any of the D2BA Hot Foil plates. For my card, I used Gemini Foilpress machine with D2BA Triangle Accent Foil Plate. It looks simple yet glowing. I simply follow the steps on the booklet that comes with the machine.

After hot foiling process, I cut it with one of the rectangle dies from Wavy Slimline Framelit Dies and I cut another mat with the larger size die with teal cardstock. I stacked them together with permanent adhesive runner glue on the slimline card base.

For the sentiment, I stamped and heat embossed one of the sentiment from Special Family Stamp Set and then I cut it with one of the label dies from Slim Mini Wavy Layers Dies. I added on the card with the same glue adhesive.

I hope this card can give you another idea to create a card for our June Artzy Challenge – Masculine. hanks so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a wonderful day!

Perk Up Mini Slimline Card

Hello hello hello coffee loving crafty friends… Anything can perk you up and for me it is coffee. Today, I wanna share this perk up mini slimline card with you all.

I made this coffee card today using the new Latte Love Stamp Set, new Frappe & Donut Die Set, new Slim Mini Wavy Layers Dies, and Sunburst Stencil. The Mini Slimline card base I used is 6″ X 3.25″ that fit perfectly with all the D2BA new Slim Mini dies

I used gelli printing technique to create that background. I dabbed the dye inks directly on the gelli plate and spray lightly with water. Then, I added the stencil and I put the watercolor paper on top. I gently pressed the paper and then I removed the paper and stencil off the gelli plate. I grabbed another watercolor paper and pulled another print off the gelli plate.

I dried the printed paper with craft heater and then I cut it with the largest size of the Slim Mini Wavy Layers Dies. I added the front panel on too of the slim mini card base with permanent adhesive runner.

I stamped the coffee cup, sleeve, and lid on a watercolor paper with black pigment ink and dried them. I colored then with watercolor brush pens and water brush. I dried them again and then I cut them with the coordinating dies. I put the pieces together with dries-clear adhesive glue. I added the cup on the card with permanent adhesive

I stamped the sentiment on a white cardstock with black pigment ink and then I cut it with the label die from the Slim Mini Wavy Layers Dies. I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

This new coffee stamps and dies are also available in this coffee amazing bundle that you can grab them with sale price!

That’s my card today! Hope this brings some sunshine into your day. Thanks so much for stopping by!

To A Beary Special Mom

Hello hello hello crafty friends… Mother’s Day is right around the corner. Today I would like to share this Mother’s Day card idea for a beary special mom in our lives.

I am inspired by this February challenge at Dare 2B Artzy Blog. The February theme is FLOWER.

I started with creating the stenciled background. I used the Wild Flower Stencil. I taped it directly on the card base and then I added the inks on it using oval blending brush.

I stamped the bear image from the Bear Banner Stamp Set with black pigment ink pad and then dried it with craft heater. I colored the bear with alcohol markers. I stamped the letters MOM and heart banners with dye ink pad and Mini MISTI. And then after that I cut it with the matching Bear Banner Die.

I stamped the bee on a white cardstock with black pigment ink pad and I repeated to get 5 bees. After that, I colored them with black and yellow alcohol markers and then I cut them with the matching die.

I stamped the sentiment on a yellow cardstock and trimmed it into a sentiment banner. I added it on the card with thin 3D foam tape at the top corner.

I added the bear image and the bottom corner card with thin 3D foam tape and then I decorated the cards with those cute little bees using some thin 3D foam tape, too.

I hope this card sparks a l
