Give Thanks Bible Art Journaling

Hello hello hello everyone!!! I hope you all are well and safe. November is here. The Fall is in the air. The leaves have turned their colors.

This week, Dare 2B Artzy is teaming up with Tombow. During this week, you will see projects from both design teams on each blog.

Today is my turn to share the project at Dare 2B Artzy Blog. I made a Give Thanks Bible Art Journaling project to share with you all.

On this Give Thanks Bible Art page using the Give Thanks stamp setFoxy Greetings stamp setTombow Dual Brush Pens, and Tombow Water Brush.

I love these thanksgiving song verses in 1 Chronicles 16. They were giving thanks for the love of the Lord in their lives and for the Ark of the covenant of God was brought into the tent. The present of God was with them.

I hope this project can give you an artzy idea using D2BA stamp sets and Tombow.

During this team up week, you can get 10% off your orders by using this discount code: FALL10 . This offer ends on November 8th. Check out all the great stamps, dies, stencils, and papers that you will love at D2BA Store!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a wonderful day.

Joy Clair 5th Anniversary and New Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joy Clair 5th Anniversary and New Release Blog Hop! We are so thankful you are here to join us celebrating this special birthday.

This blog hop, is not only Joy Clair design teams but also there are amazing guest designers sharing their projects showcasing Joy Clair clear stamps. You should arrive from Cornelia’s blog.

On my first project I use the new Everyday Collection: Crystal Background Stamp and You’re A Gem stamp set to create these CAS cards.

For extra blings to the gems and crystal, I used glitter cardstock for the background and I use glitter embossing powder to heat embossed the images.

I use resist-watercolor technique to create that crystal frame after that, I fussy cut them with scissors.

I stamped the sentiments in the middle of the crystal frames with VersaFine Clair ink pad.

These cards are super easy to make yet glittery and shiny.

For the second project, I created an art journal on my Traveler’s Notebook using the new Color By Faith collection: Shadow of The Almighty.

I started with creating the beach scene with white gesso and Gelatos.

I did not use any special technique. It is simply cover the pages with white gesso using flat brush and dry it.

After that, I scribble the Gelatos on the page and blended them with my finger. I used baby wipes to remove some of the blue color and the patterned left on the page turned into clouds.

I sprayed the page with Workable Fixative spray so the Gelatos won’t smeared or change.

After the background was done, I started to stamp the images on the page using VersaFine Clair ink pads. I dried it with craft heater. Colored the chair and umbrella with Dina Wakley Media Scribble Sticks.

I stamped the word “Psalms” with Lindsey Script Alpha stamp set and wrote the verse number with Tombow PITT Artist Pen.

Bible Journaling | Galatia 4:1-7

Hello everyone… Today, I have a Bible journaling page to share with you all.

My Bible journaling is from Galatia 4:1-7. Apostle Paul reminds us that we were slaves and by God’s grace he adopted us to be His own children through Jesus Christ. We are no longer slaves to the world and laws, we are now His children and God gives us the Holy Spirit. Through this adoption, we become His heirs! YES… We are the heirs of the King of kings!!! This is an amazing news!

I am sharing the full details and steps to create this page at Joy Clair Blog today. And the stamp set I use on this Bible Journaling Page is the newly released Color By Faith Collection called Heir of God. This stamp set is just perfect for this verses.

I started by adding heavy body acrylic paints directly on my ESV journaling page. I learned from an online class that acrylic paint will not bleed through and can be a great first layer to prep the thin page. I used small flat brush to blend the blue, teal, and green color.

And then, I used the metallic gold acrylic paint to highlight the verses. I used very thin layer so I still can read the rest of the words on the same page.

I used craft heater to dry this page quickly to avoid wrinkling.

I have a piece of fun foam that I trimmed to fit under my journaling Bible page and use it all the time for stamping. It helps to get nice and crisp result, I rarely had to double stamp my images. If I got not clear image, I always trace it or connect the line with Micron Pen 1. It is my go-to Permanent Pen with India Ink and no bleed-through the paper.

For stamping, I use VersaFine Clair ink pad this time becuase it is a permanent pigment ink that works well on acrylic paints.

I hope you all will enjoy the simple steps I share at Joy Clair Blog today. Thanks a lot for stopping by today. Have a wonderful, blessed day!

Color By Faith Blog Hop | Holy Week Bible Journaling and Easter Card

Hello everyone… April is finally arrive. Spring has sprung here and Easter is 3 weeks away… I am so thankful for this season and for new things that God is preparing for us.

Today, I am joining the Joy Clair team for the Color By Faith Blog Hop. We are preparing for the Holy Week and we hope that through this blog hop, you all find some inspirations for Holy Week and Easter using the Color by Faith Collection.

My first project is a Bible Journaling from the Luke 23 and Luke 24 where we all can read when the Holy week started, the Crucifixion, the Death, the Burial, and the Resurrection of Jesus.

I use the Color by Faith Collection: Hossana, My Redeemer, and He Has Risen on this page. It is very simple to do this journaling page. I always like to still be able reading the Words on the page instead of covering them.

I covered the journaling space, top and bottom of the page with thin layer of white gesso.

I use VersaMagic Dew Drops for stamping all the images and sentiments. And I put a fun foam and thicker cardboard under the page to get good result of stamping because my Bible is bumpy with stickers and thickers already.

And my second project is an Easter card using My Redeemer, and He Has Risen from theColor by Faith Collection.

I created couple watercolored background using Catherine Pooler Ink Pads and water with smooshing technique. Then, I sprayed some water and dabbed it off with paper towel for distressed look on them.

I stamped the cross with Memento Rich Cocoa ink pad on a brown cardstock and then I colored it with Prismacolors Pencil and colorless blender pencil. Then I fussy cut it with scissors.

I stamped the cross image again on a purple cardstock with Grape Jelly Memento Dew Drop, then I colored the clothe with Prismacolors Pencil and colorless blender pencil. I fussy cut just the clothe and then glued it on the cross image.

For the sentiment, I stamped the “hallelujah” word with Memento Rich Cocoa ink pad on one of the watercolored background panel and trimmed to fit across the card. I stamped the “he has risen” phrase on a white cardstock using Tangelo Dew Drop ink pad, trimmed it into sentiment banner, and then I added it on the cross with permanent adhesive glue.

I used Double Stitched Rectangles Dies and Double Stitched Oval Dies from Divinity Designs for the mat and frame.
