My Redeemer Lives Bible Journaling

Joy Clair

HAPPY EASTER to you and your loved ones! We hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Easter weekend with you loved ones celebrating the victory in Jesus, our living Redeemer! Death nor grave cannot hold Him. Jesus is alive and the power that rose Him from the death is not living in us.

My Redeemer Lives Bible Journaling

I have a Bible journaling page to share with you today. The reading is from Mark 16:1-8. If you continue reading the whole chapter 16, you will also find more proofs that JESUS is ALIVE by revealing himself to his disciples.

On my journaling page, I use the My Redeemer – Color By Faith Stamp Set with Ranger Black Archival Ink, Distress Oxide, Arteza Woodless Watercolor Pencils, and Waterbrush. I am so very thankful for this creative way we can meditate God’s word and also expressing our love toward him through artwork. And if you are like me who do not draw or paint well, then stamps will be our choices 🙂 Joy Clair has an amazing Bible Journaling – Color By Faith stamp collection!

Head over to Joy Clair blog today to read my full post on how I created this journaling page. I hope you’ll enjoy this post today 🙂 Have a wonderful blessed day!

A Mixed Media Card and A Bible Journaling Page

Joy Clair Stamp Sets

Hello everyone… I hope you are having good early Spring and have time to prepare your hearts and mind for Easter weekend.

Today, I have a Mixed Media Card and A Bible Journaling Page that I create using Joy Clair – Bible Journaling Color By Faith Collection and Mini MISTI.

Mixed Media Card and Bible Journaling Page with Joy Clair and MISTI

On my first project, a mixed media card, I use the Refuel My Soul stamp set and Fishers of Men stamp set. Both stamp sets are new Bible Journaling Color By Faith Collection which are perfect for not only for Bible journaling projects, but also for making cards, and more encouragement themed projects. I cut out the card and gas pump shapes with my Silhouette Cameo, and using Mini MISTI to stamp them. Then I colored them with watercolor pencils. The background I created with Gelato and baby wipes.

For my second project, a Bible journaling page, I created it using Fishers of Men stamp set, Gelatos and Stamper’s Big Brush Pen. This time, I did not prepare my page with clear gesso becuase I did not use a lot of water on this page. When I work with Gelatos on Bible journaling page, Baby Wipes is my to go blender tool 🙂

I am sharing full post and tutorials how I created these 2 projects on Joy Clair blog today. While you are there, don’t  forget to comment on the post for it is part of the special month event blog hop with My Sweet Petunia team.

I hope you like the post and THANK YOU so much for stopping by my blog today! Have a wonderful day.

Typografia In Faith – A Bible Journaling Page and A Card

STAMPlorations

Hello everyone… I am back today with 2 projects, a Bible journaling page and a Faith card to share with you all.

Typografia In Faith - A Bible Journaling Page and A Card

My first project is a Bible Journaling Page that I created using the new Typografia In Faith – Love The Lord Stamp Set. The Typografia in Faith stamp sets fit on the journal space on my ESV Journaling Bible.

I created the stamped border tag. I added some Gelatos on a piece of watercolor paper, and then I added the Bloomtangled #2 Cover Plate Die on it, and remove some of the colors with baby wipe to create a ghosting background. Then I stamped the Love The Lord stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black and heat embossed it with Glitter embossing powder. I trimmed it to fit the journal space and added on the page with dries-clear adhesive glue.

I added more of the Gelatos on the page to create the frame around the page. Then I added some of the white flower die cuts that I cut out using Trendy Spring Blooms Dies.

Typografia In Faith - A Bible Journaling Page and A Card

My second project is a Faith themed card that I created using the new Typografia In Faith – Peace Be With You stamp set. I stamped it with Mini MISTI using Memento Dew Drop London Fog Ink and Memento Dew Drop Bamboo Leaves Ink. Then I cut it with one of the ODBD Circle Dies.

I created the background using the Bloomtangled #1 Cover Plate Die with Ghosting Technique and Distress Oxide Inks. And I embellished the card with some natural twine ribbon and gold assortment sequins.

I hope these projects encourage you to express your faith through your projects 🙂

Praise The Lord – Psalms 66 Bible Journaling

Joy Clair Color By Faith

Hello everyone… Helen is here today and I have a Bible journaling page to share with you. It is about God’s character, works, and promises from the book of Psalms 66. For those, we worship Him and shout joyful noise to His holy name!

Joy Clair Color By Faith Praise The Lord Psalms 66 Bible Journaling

Shout for joy to God, all the earth;

sing the glory of his name;

give to him glorious praise!

Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds!

So great is your power that your enemies come cringing to you.

All the earth worships you

and sings praises to you;

they sing praises to your name.” Selah

Come and see what God has done:

he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man.

(Psalms 66:1-5, ESV)

I created using the Praise The Lord stamp set, one of the new Color By Faith collection. On my page, I also used Clear Gesso, Gelatos, Acrylic Paints, Archival Ink Pad, Water, and Washi Tapes.

I am sharing a tutorial at Joy Clair Blog today. I hope you can find some inspirations at Joy Clair blog. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a wonderful and blessed day!
