CAS, Watercolored Card: Best Mom Ever

Spring has arrived for sure. Warm, sunny and lots of flower are blooming are the signs around here. We love this weather!

AJVD April 18 - Best Mom Ever

Today, I am sharing a CAS, watercolored Mother’s Day card on A Jillian Vance Design blog. On this card I use the AJVD – Mother’s Day Stamp set, ADORNit Watercolor Pencils & Watercolor Brush, Koi Watercolors Paints, and Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad.

For the card base, I use the A2 White Card, for the sentiment I used one of the Darice pink shade cardstock, canson watercolor paper for the flowers.

First, I stamped the rose image four times on watercolor paper using permanent Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and Mini MISTI. Then I colored them with my watercolor pencils and using watercolor brush I pulled out the pigment to color. After the watercolor paint dried, I fussy cut them.

I added some black watercolor paint splatters on the card base to create the background.

Next, I stamped the sentiment on a pink cardstock and cut it out. I arranged the roses right behind the sentiment square with liquid adhesive. And I added them on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimension.
But then I decided to add some glitter on those roses using gliter brush pen. My card is done.
