Christmas Card With ODBD Dies and Distress Inks

Hello everyone… We got some cold days lately and I am dreaming of snowy day…but I know that we won’t get snow until end of the year or early of the new year 🙂 Christmas is about 35 days from today and I have another Christmas card with ODBD Dies and Distress Inks to share with you.

Christmas Card With ODBD Dies and Distress Inks

First, I created the snowy night background using Distress Inks and some white acrylic paint. On a white heavy weight cardstock, I blended the Distress ink colors using blending tool, sprayed some water and dabbed it off with paper towel, and then I added some white acrylic platters using small flat watercolor brush. I trimmed it down to fit my front top-fold card base.

Then I cut out couple of the snow curvy slope shapes using the Curvy Slopes Dies, and added some distress ink on the edges and added them on the card with liquid adhesive.

I cut out the door pieces using the Welcoming Door Dies and Christas Door Greenery Dies. For the background wall die cut, I used white cardstock and added some Distress ink with blending tool to add some shadow. And for the door pieces and wreath pieces, I cut out using the solid color papers from Christmas 2017 Paper Collection.

I added them on the card using liquid adhesive and added some clear gems on the wreath for extra bling.

I stamped the sentiment from We’ve Moved Stamp Set with Black archival ink pad on a white cardstock, die cut it with one of the Pennant Flag Dies, and I added it on the top of the card with 3D foam tape. I also stamped the sub-sentiment beside the door using the same ink pad.

That’s all my card today. I hope this will give you some inspiration to create for this Holiday Seasons. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you all have a fabulous blessed day!
