I still can feel the love is in the air today with snow falling outside the window, and smelling the flower bouquet my husband and daughters got for me. I hope you all had a fabulous and sweet time with your loved one celebrating Valentine’s Day yesterday.
Today we are sharing projects featuring the kissing stamping technique for the monthly CTMH Technique Blog Hop 🙂 This is one fun technique of adding extra texture to a solid image stamp by using a that have more detail on in.
In this video, Tresa explains what is kissing technique and she shows you how to stamp with this fun technique.
You should arrive from Kirsten’s blog, but if you happen to be here first, it is totally okay. You can continue hopping to the next one to continue seeing the projects my fellow consultants has created for you this month using the kissing technique. But just in case you got lost, you always can go back to Melissa’s blog.
And… here’s my cards:
For both cards, I added the grundy texture on the camera feather. First I inked the solid images, then I stamped one of the un-inked stamp image from Oodles of Doodles set on them.
I went with one-layer, clean and simple designs this time. I just love to see the center of the card is the stamped image and sentiment. And also this type of card is very mail-friendly 🙂
Supplies I used today:
- Share The Love stamp set (CC1060 – only available until 2/29/2016)
- Oodles of Doodles (B1449)
- Feathers stamp set (C1584)
- Inked Alphabet (E1033)
- Urban Paper Packet (X7204B)
- My Acrylix® Block Starter Kit (Y1501)
- Red Enamel Hearts (Z2009)
- White Enamel Stars (Z2010)
- Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads: Black (Z2105), Ruby (Z2170), Sapphire (Z2648)
- Glue Adhesive Runner
Your next hop is Michelle’s blog to see her project for this technique.
