Today, I am sharing my project at CLC Blog – Coffee Week featuring the Super Sponsor – Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps, and over there you can find the detail on how you can enter for the giveaway.

I went with a monochromatic theme. The stamp sets I used on this card are:

For the background, I used watercolor cardstock and added some watercolor paint to create the grungy look, and then using the Memento Rich Cocoa ink pad I stamped the coffee stain splatters from the Texture Tiles 9 stamp set. After that, I used a distresser tool to distress the edges of the watercolor cardstock. I added it to the card base with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L – E-Z Runner Grand Refillable Dispenser.

I stamped the coffee word tile stamp with Memento Rich Cocoa ink pad on white cardstock to make the word background mat, and then I added it on light brown glitter cardstock with E-Z Runner Grand Refillable Dispenser. I added ribbon on it and then added it to the card with thin foam tape.

I stamped the coffee cup image from the Coffee Talk Clear Stamp Set twice on white cardstock with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and colored them with alcohol markers. I cut them and added them to the card with permanent adhesive glue.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the same stamp set on a white card with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and trimmed it. I added it to the card with thin 3D foam tape.

And then, I added some of the Crafty Roast Clay Coffee Bean Embellishment Mix to the card with permanent adhesive glue.

Layered Fall Foxy Card

Hello hello everyone… Today, I have a Fall Foxy card to share with you all. I made it using a fun layered cardmaking technique.

This layered card technique is one of the fun cardmaking techniques to create layers on the card with patterned papers and solid papers. You also can create the background patterns with stamping. You can also twist the papers around for different designs.

On my card, I used one of the pretty papers from the Fall Harvest Collection Variety pack. I cut the paper with 3 sizes of the Rectangle Framelits Die. I cut out brown solid cardstock to make mats that are 1/2 inch larger than the patterned papers. I stacked them together with the permanent adhesive runner.

Next, I stamped the fox image from the Foxy Greetings Stamp Set with a light color permanent archival ink pad on white cardstock. And then, I colored it with alcohol markers. I tried the no-line coloring technique with this fox image and was pretty happy with the result. After that, I cut it with the fox die from the matching Foxy Greetings Die.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with the black ink pad and then cut it with one of the banners dies from the Slim Mini Wavy Layers Die.

I added both the fox and the sentiment banner on the card with the permanent adhesive runner. And I added some gems on it for extra embellishments.

The September Artzy Challenge theme is Animals. You can play along with creating any projects using animals or critters on them. Link it up with the challenge for a chance to win the prize!!!

I hope my card gives you an idea to play along with this challenge. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a fabulous day!

Thursday Coffee Break | Thanks A Latte Card

I love Fall Season and I cannot wait to go out and sit on our back porch, sipping my coffee and enjoying the colorful Fall leaves. As you can see on today’s card, I am inspired by Fall leaves and coffee!

I made using stamp sets from Close To My Heart, Chris is one of our super sponsors.

On the background, I used the Thoughtful Critters Stamp Set. I stamped the leaves and mushrooms on a piece of watercolor paper using VersaFine Black ink pad and then colored them with watercolor paints. I added some splatters paint on it with fan brush.

And then I added some Distress Vintage Photo ink around the edges with Sponge Dauber.

On a white cardstock, I stamped the coffee cup, cup sleeves, and sentiment from Whole Latte Love Stamp Set with CTMH Intense Black ink pad, and then I colored them with alcohol markers.

I cut out a frame using 2 rectangle dies and I added it on the card with permanent adhesive glue. I added the cup and sentiment on the card with 3D foam tape.

Can you feel the Fall is in air now???

I shared this card also at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog. I hope you all have a fabulous day. Thanks for stopping by!

Mermazing Slimline Birthday Card

Hello artsy friends! Today, I wanna share this mermazing birthday slimline card with you all. This is a quick, clean and simple card to make for a Summer birthday theme.

I cut out 2 colors of glitter cardstock using the Slim Mini Birthday Die set. I stacked them together with the strong permanent adhesive glue. These glitter cardstock are glossy so require a strong adhesive. After the glue dried, I added them to the slimline card base with permanent adhesive.

I stamped the 2 mermaid images from the Mermazing Stamp Set on white cardstock with Artzy Ink Totally Black, dried the ink with a craft heater, and then cut them with the matching Mermazing Die. I colored them with alcohol markers and added them to the card with thin 3D foam tape.

That’s it, quick and easy, right? I hope this card gives you a splash of Summer at the end of this season. You can check out the Make Waves Collection to use for your projects.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a fabulous day!

Breezy Blossom Slimline Card

Hello everyone… Today, I have a slimline card to share with you all. I made this Breezy Blossom Hello slimline card using one of my new favorites from D2BA: Breeze Blossoms Stamp Set and Breezy Blossoms Die set.

One way of creating backgrounds is using stamps. These matching stamp and die sets are perfect for creating your own floral background. I stamped the 3 flower images on white cardstock with Artzy Ink Totally Black, dried them with a craft heater, and then cut them with the matching dies. I did this step a couple of times to have a bunch of flowers. After that, I colored them with alcohol markers.

I added the flower one by one on the slimline card base with dries-clear adhesive glue, and then I cut the extra around the edges with scissors.

I cut 2 pieces of white cardstock using 2 sizes of the Rectangle Slimline Framelit Dies and stacked them together with dries-clear adhesive glue to create the white frame. I added it to the card with double-sided tape.

For the sentiment, I used the Hello Word Die set. I cut the base with white cardstock. Then, I cut the word hello out of yellow cardstock three times and I stacked them together with the dries-clear adhesive glue to make the thin chipboard word. I glued it on the base and then added it to the card with the same glue.
