Hawaiian Hibiscus: Mahalo

Summer for us is all about tent camping, swimming in the lake, hiking and exploring the nature. And, We are going on a long weekend temt camping trip on this Father’s Day weekend.

Before we are on the road, I’d like to share a card I made with this gorgeous Hawaiian Hibiscus stamp set from Close To My Heart.

Hawaiian Hibiscus - Mahalo

I used Watercolor Paint set and flat medium brush to create that background.

On a seperate watercolor paper, I stamped the flowers using Black Archival Ink Pad and usig my Craft Heater to dry them quickly and started painting them.

Hawaiian Hibiscus - Mahalo

When they dried well, I used the Non-Stick Micro-Tip Scissors to cut all of them and adding them on the card with glue dots and 3D foam tapes.

I stamped the sentiment with Archival Black Ink Pad.

I am not a big fan of hot pink (sorry to all Pink lovers…) but I love how this card turned out. I think the yellow and green kindda balance it out. What do you think? 😉

Thank You for visiting me this time! Have a fabulous and blessed day!
