New Challenge And An Announcement

Today I have an excited news for you all! I officially can spill the bean 🙂 I am one of the member of Happy Little Stampers Design Team. Super excited to be part of this challenge blog team!

I am designing for one of their challenges called, Anything Goes With Dies. It is a NEW monthly challenge and they have another challenges that you can play all month long!

And here’s my first project for Anything Goes with Dies – May Challenge using the Box – Nice and Neat Die (Neat and Tangled) and Diploma Day stamp set (Close To My Heart, retired):

After I cut the box using my WRMK – Evolution Advanced diecutting machine, I put it together using Tombow Aqua Mono Liquid Glue. I put couple clothes pins to hold the sides until they dried well. Then I added it on the card base using Scor-Tape. Then I added some tissues paper inside the box with some liquid glue to make sure it stays in place. I LOVE that tissue paper look but I thought the box needs something more.

So, I stamped some hats and scrolls from the Diploma Day stamp set using CTMH – Black Exclusive Ink Pad on the White Daisy cardstock. Then I fussy cut them using Non-Stick Micro-Tip Scissors. And using glue dots I added them like they throw out from the box. I finished it with some Clear Gems Sparkles and stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the box.

  2. What an awesome card, Helen! I love the colors you chose for the box. Purple and yellow make a great combi!
    By the way, I am not getting any mails on your new post, even though I am subscribed to your blog. I don’t know the reason – and because of this I am not able to check your new posts either! It would be great if you could see what the problem is..
