Valentine’s is 5 days away and today I am sharing a clean and simple card Valentine’s Day card that I made for Joyful Stars February Blog Hop and enter it at 3 challenge blogs.
For the blog hop, you should arrive from Donna’s blog, but if you are here first, you can continue hopping to make the loop. You can always go to Joyce’s blog to start and see the full listof participants.
On a piece of Watercolor Paper, I stamped all the flower images from Wavy Blooms stamp set using Black Archival Ink. Then I colored using Watercolor Pencils and using Blending Pen to give the watercolor look and it works perfectly for smaller lines like on those flowers. Less messy, too 🙂
I cut a strip of paper from La Vie En Rose paper packet to use as the bottom border on the front card, then I glued the watercolored flower paper on it.
For the sentiment and the inside of the card, I stamped the letters from Inked Alphabet stamp set using Black Archival Ink. Aren’t they beautiful handwriting style? I wish I could write that way 🙂
And I finished my card with some Red Enamel Heart and it’s ready for me to write some love notes.
You next hop is Yvonne’s blog to see what she has created for you. I hope you like my card today and inspired to make some handmade cards 🙂
