October Stencil Challenge | Coffee Is Life

Hello everyone… We are in the middle of October already! And the Fall finally arrived to the area where we live. I hope you all have a wonderful season.

My card today is a mixed media, clean and simple with coffee theme:

I am using the Make Marks 1 Stencil by Helen G. Designs (oh that’s me! *wink wink*) and the Coffee Cup ARTplorations Stencil to create that background on a blacked watercolored paper using the Deco Foil Metallix Gel – Black Ice and Deco Foil Stencil Pal. I added extra white splatters with white acrylic paint with water and fan brush.

For the sentiment, it is one of the fun clear sticker sentiment from the Just Caffeinate Clear Stickers. I added the sticker on a white cardstock and then trimmed it with scissors around the sticker to give it a sturdy base. I added on the card with 3D foam tape.

October Stencil Challenge | Heartfelt Thanks Mixed Media Challenge

Hello hello hello… October has arrived! I am back today with a new stencil challenge and a heartfelt thanks mixed media card.

It is the new STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge. Yup… it is one of the new challenges hosted by STAMPlorations. It is a monthly challenge and there are prizes to win. At their blog, you can read the challenge guidelines and how you can participate.

I made this heartfelt thanks mixed media card for this month challenge:

On this mixed media card, I use:

  • Make Marks 3 ARTplorations Stencil
  • Make Marks 5 ARTplorations Stencil
  • Heartfelt Thanks Stamp
  • Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies CUTplorations

For the watercolored background, I use the Leisure Arts Double Ended Markers and water with smooshing technique. And then I used the stencils to add the embossing paste with the knife palette, and then the VersaFine Clair Charmink Pink with blending brush. After the paste dried, I cut it with the die.

I stamped the flower with VersaFine Onyx Black on a watercolor cardstock and then colored it with the double ended markers and then fussy cut it with scissors.

I stamped the sentiment on a white cardstocks, and trimmed it into word strips. I added the flower and sentiments on the card with 3D foam tape.

Here’s a coupon code for you… I hope you all will play along with our Stencil Challenge this month. Thank you so much for stopping by!

I created the background with Make Marks 1 ARTplorations Stencil, acrylic paints and gelli art plate.

I cut out the gree and white monoprints using the ATC Tag Builder CUTplorations Die to create the ATC base cards and then I cut the other monoprints with the Coffee Cup Silhouette CUTplorations Die.

I used both positive and negative die cuts on these ATC cards. I added white and black cardstocks as base mats. I added them on the base cards with 3D foam tape and dries-clear adhesive glue.

For the sentiments, I added couple sentiments from the Just Caffeinate Clear Stickers on white cardstock and then I cut it around the stickers with scissors. This way, the sticker will have sturdy, white background. I added it on the card with dries-clear adhesive glue.

Clean And Simple Card | Grateful For You

Hello everyone… September is almost gone by, Fall season is almost here. Inspired by my favorite season, I created this clean and simple card.

On my clean and simple card today I use newly released stamp set, Fall GreetingsRinea products, and coloring with Leisure Arts Double Ended Markers.

I tried ghosting look technique with Rinea Ghost Ink Pad and one of the Autumn Foiled Papers Variety Pack to create the circle background.

I stamped one of the leaf branches from the Fall Greetings stamp set with Rinea Ghost Ink Pad on the mocha side of the glossy foiled paper. Let it dried for about a minute, and then I sprayed it with 70% rubbing alcohol and I wiped it off right away with paper towel. I like the distressed look on the foiled paper. And then, I cut it with one of the Divinity Designs Pierced Circles Dies and I added it on a white card with double-sided tape.

I did the same stamping step with the sentiment on a piece of Ebony/Glossy Solid Foiled Paper. After that, I trimmed the foiled paper into sentiment strip and added 3D foam tape on the back of it.

For the foliages, I stamped the leaf braches and berry branch on a white cardstock with VersaFine Clair Ink Pads (Pinecone and Green Oasis).

I dried the stamped images with craft heater and then I colored the leaves with the Leisure Arts Double Ended Markers and water brush that turn the marker inks into watercolor paint. I dried the watercolored image with craft heater and then fussy cut them with micro-tips scissors.

I stacked the brances together into a bundle and secured them with permanent adhesive glue, and then I tied it up with natural twine ribbon.

I added the brances on the card with permanent adhesive glue and then I added the sentiment on it with the same glue.

I hope you like my card today. For more inspirations, head over to Joy Clair blog. THANK YOU so much for stopping by!

Spooky Hello…

Hello hello hello everyone… Here’s a little spooky hello card for you. It might be a little early for Halloween card, but since today is Friday the 13th, why not, right?

I use one of the newly released digital stamp sets from Graciellie Design called, Spooky Hello Mega Digital Stamp Set. But as you can see yourself, it is not a scary spooky theme stamp set.

I like to use Silhouette Studio software to work with digital stamp sets. I used the print-and-cut with the pumpkin. I printed it with Laser printer, and then cut it with Silhouette Cameo 3.

After that, I added a piece of the Gina K. Designs Fancy Foil – Dazzling Orange on the pumpkin, put it inside the carrier pocket, and then run it through the laminator. When it’s cold, I removed the foil and voila! Glimmer, dazzling, pumpkin!

You can leave as is, it is cute already. But, I decided to colored the pumpkin with Leisure Arts Double Ended Markers and waterbrush.

For the background, the bottom panel, I created it with some alcohol inks and DecoFoil Gold Transfer Sheet on a glossy photo paper. I trimmed it and added on the white card with E-Z Runner Grand.

The second patterned background, I created it using the candycorn image from the same digital stamp set. I duplicated it and printed it on a 8.5 x 11 white cardstock with Laser Printer in black and white. After that I colored the candycorns with Leisure Arts Double Ended Markers. I cut it with one of the Craftin Desert Divas – Fancy Frames. I added on top of the alcohol ink background with permanent adhesive glue.

I added some twine on the card for the wreath, and secure the twine with permanent adhesive glue. Then I added the pumpkin and sentiment label on the card with 3D foam tape.

I hope this card make this “Spooky Friday the 13th” be less spooky to you all… Thanks a bunch for stopping by today. Have a fabulous day!
