And here is my card for this hop that I made this slimline bubble tea card using the fun Summertime Sips Stand-Alone Die Set for the vocal point bubble tea cup on the card. I use one of the sentiments from the A Latte Love Stamp Set.

I used some of the bubble white circles that I cut out using the circle dies come with the die set and the Crafty Roast Clay Coffee Bean Embellishments. I LOVE that coffee bean!

For the watercolor background, I used smooshing with stamping block technique and Catherine Pooler Ink Pads. It is a fun way of adding watercolor wash on the background card.

I hope you all enjoy this bubble tea slimline card today. Now… it is time to hop along over my friends’ blogs. Have fun and wonderful day!

Colorful or Monochrome, Which Is Your Style?

Hello crafty friends! I hope you all have a good week so far… This week, I had these three projects to share with you all. For me, either colorful or monochrome, they both are different style that you can do in cardmaking. How about you? Which one is your style?

First project is these CAS kraft cards that I created using the Inspirational #5 Clear StickersWatercolor ATC Journaling CardsBloomfully – Faith Stamp SetBlossom Sprays #1 Stamp Set, and Blossom Sprays #3 Stamp Set. The main key of this style is that you need to pick an image that will stand out as vocal point of the card even when it is in black and white or monochrome color, against the colorful background. I am sharing more about how I created these cards at STAMPlorations blog.

My second card this week is this black and white slimline card that I created using I used the Strawberry Vine Stamp Set (coordinating die set is available, too), Textures (Totally Tracy) Stamp Set, and Rectangle Slimline Framelit Dies. I never thought to use a Spring or Summer theme stamp set to create a black and white or monochrome style. But after I put this card together, I like how it turned out. The strawberry branch has its own “wow” even it was not colored. I added extra interest and texture on the background using the texture stamp set and some sequins to embellish this card. You can head over to Dare 2B Artzy blog to read more about this monochrome slimline card.

And for my third project, it is this colorful mixed media coffee tag that I shared at Coffee Loving Cardmaking blog this week. This cup of bloom mixed media tag I created using an old postcard that I reused as the tag base. I used the Stitched Tags Nesting CUTplorations Die SetSTAMPlorations Coffee Spring/Summer KitMake Marks 6 ARTplorations StencilBrave One Stamp Set, Gelatos, Pigment inks, watercolor pencils, glitter brush, acrylic paint spray.

I hope this week projects give you extra ideas to create and have fun inside your craft room. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Have wonderful day!

April Stencil Challenge | Dream Big Art Journal

Hello crafty friends… It is half way through April now! I am so looking forward to see more pretty colorful flowers.

Today, I would like to share this simple art journal page with you. I used the Faces – Lovely ARTplorations StencilMake Marks 1 ARTplorations StencilMixed Media Grunge Stamp SetArt Marks 2 Stamp SetBig Dreamer Stamp Set. All from STAMPlorations.

I also used Gelatos, white gesso, texture paste, fine glitter, pigment ink pads, and acrylic paints on this page.

I other tools I used were from what I can find around the kitchen such as plastic knife, bubble wrap, and recycling toilet paper roll and tape roll.

Mixed media should not be stressful process. It does not have to be perfect. Sometimes, mistakes can be an extra element on the project. The main thing is you can feel the joy and fun in the process.

I hope you all can find time to create and join our April Stencil Challenge. For more inspiration from the team you can check them all here. And go here to link up your project for this challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you all will have a wonderful day.

2021 Spring-Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop | Coffee Feels Good Mixed Media Tags

Hello hello everyone! Hope you all are doing good. Today, I have another coffee themed project to share with you. I am excited to share these Coffee Feel Good mixed media tags at STAMPlorations Blog featuring the Coffee Feel Good Clear Stickers for their Sticker Monday post.

I also used the Stitched Tags Nesting DiesBlossoming Mini ARTplorations Stencil, and Coffee Background ATC Ephemera. If you are a coffee lover like me, you might want to grab this Coffee Spring/Summer Kit now! Beside the tags, you can get the rest products included in this kit, and more for great deal!

Here’s how I created these tags. First, I cut out a piece of 140 lbs watercolor paper using one of the Stitched Tags Nesting Dies  to make these three base tags. And, I applied thin layer of white gesso on those tag surfaces and let it dried.

I taped the Blossoming Mini ARTplorations Stencil on top of the tag. I mixed some gesso with acrylic paints and added on the tag with pallet knife. I removed the tag under the stencil, and then add the other tag on it. I used different colors of acrylic paints for each tag. I set them aside to dry.

When the gesso and paint dried, I added some colors on the edges of each tags using Gelatos. I used my finger to blended the gelatos on the tag and then I added some splatters of paints on the tags. I dried the tags with craft heater.

I used three stickers from the Coffee Feel Good Clear Stickers. I added each sticker on a white cardstock and trimmed it around the sticker, and then using 3D foam tape I added each of them on top of three patterns from the Coffee Background ATC Ephemera. I added each cards on top of each tag with strong permanent adhesive tape.

STAMPlorations is also a Super Sponsor for the 2021 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop. This hop is hosted by our amazing Coffee Loving Cardmakers. The theme for blog hop and link up party is anything goes with coffee/tea/cocoa and Spring. This hop starts from Friday, March 19th through Friday, March 26th. There are 63 Sponsors who are generously providing so many prizes for this hop.

I had fun making these coffee mixed media tags. I hope you all will like them, too. Thanks for stopping by today! Have a fabulous and caffeinated day!

March Stencil Challenge | Foiled Background

Hello everyone!! March is here already. It is a new month and we have a new stencil challenge for you!

I use the Clustered Hearts ARTploration Stencil, Beautiful Friends Stamp Set, and Bracket Labels/Tags Nesting Dies.

For the first time, I tried the Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo with Deco Foil Transfer Sheets, Emerald Watercolor for the background.

I sprayed the stencil with iCraft Removable Pixie Spray and added the stencil on the heavyweight cardstock.

I added the transfer gel on the stencil using the pallet knife. After that I removed the stencil and let it dry for about an hour.

There are 2 ways to add the foil sheet on. First, you can run it through any diecutting machine and second way is you can run it through a laminator machine or foiling machine.

For my card, I run it through my Gemini Junior machine. After that, I pulled the foil sheet of the cardstock. It was super easy.

I added some splatters of spray paints on the background. Then I added the stamped sentiment label on the card with permanent adhesive.

I stamped and colored the potted flower with Arteza Woodless watercolor pencils and then I fussy cut it with scissors. I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

This March Stencil Challenge at STAMPlorations is anything goes challenge. You can create any type of projects as long as you use any stencils on it.

You have until the end of the month to link up your project for a chance to win the prize! I hope to see your projects.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Have wonderful day!
