Hello March

The snow is melting away, the temperature is getting warmer, although I am still freezing. So, we are at the end of Winter.

March is a special month for us. First, this week, our oldest daughter is turning 6! We cannot believe it that she will be on first grade next year. But most of all, we are just so thankful to see how she is growing and thanking God for every single moment we can see how He is watching over her.

And this month we will be attending an important mission conference for our ministry in Los Angeles for 3 days. This conference where we will learn a lot about the country we will go in the near future, networking and partnership opportunities with churches, organizations and individuals who serve among the people in the country.

We are so thankful and excited to see how God open the doors for us able to attend this conference and excited to see what God has provided for us and the participants at the conference.

I cannot post any details or pictures about this conference because of the security issue of the country and the people. But, would you please join us in prayer for this week?

And we will have a friend visiting us for a couole of days on the second week. We met her at a conference 3 years ago and become a good friend to our family since then. She has a heart for God’s mission work among the unengaged and unreached people groups. We cannot wait to spend time with her.

Since February, my husband and I started an online training that assigned to us by our sending organization in order to equip us and for our partnership development to go to the field. We have been learning a lot of new things. So grateful for each of our partners who standing with us in prayer and financial needs! I wanna take this moment to THANK YOU ALL on behalf of my family and the people we serve, becuase of your prayers and gifts, we are able to continue doing the training and working from home!

I have a prayer request for my husband’s grandmother who is not 82 years old. She is now at the hospital since Friday evening. Please pray for healing and God gives her strength to go through the treatment. Pray for patient as well. Pray for my husband’s mom who is taking care of her. The hospital is not that far from where we live, so we try to visit her every day. We are worry about her but we trust God has them in his hands and protect them.

But this month is gonna be great because our Lord, Jesus Christ, rules yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Hope you all have a wonderful March!

5 Minutes Monday: Accelerating Bible Translation Globally

“The authority for and ownership of all aspects of the process of Bible translation are returning to the global Church. This foundational transition affects every aspect of Bible translation.” (Tim Jore of Distant Shores Media and Wycliffe Associates)

When it comes to getting the Word of God into the hands of those still waiting to hear and understand, it is something that cannot be done alone. It takes a team of people working together. That’s where you come in . . .

Since 1967, Wycliffe Associates has given people like you the opportunity to partner in Bible translation efforts worldwide. Today, you can support crucial work in Africa, the Pacific, the Americas, Asia, and Eurasia. Whatever part of the world calls to your heart, there’s a role for you to play in Bible translation.

By partnering with national translators, we can help accelerate Bible translation and ensure that we are communicating God’s Word accurately—and powerfully.

Wycliffe Associates walk side by side with national translators to provide these dedicated nationals the training, technology resources, and support they need to speed translation efforts to help their language groups hear God’s voice speak personally to them. This organization also exist for you if you wanna make a difference and impact people live by investing:

  • Your skill, experiences and time as volunteers. If you have been praying an opportunity to serve, see how you can serve together with this amazing organization here.
  • Your financial donation. You can help support the works of Bible translations by giving a gift to Wycliffe Associates. This gift will be a great blessings to those who live remotely.

Wycliffe Associates accelerates Bible translation in these additional areas:

We are serving with Wycliffe Associates since Fall 2014 as supported staffs. My husband serves as IT / Accounting for SEA* and I serve as the volunteer coordinator and liaison between the organization and the national organizations, churches and missionaries. We are raising support to go serving for long term. You can find us here. This summer, we plan to go visiting for couple of months to see families and also helping with couple projects in the country. Would you please pray for this? If you want know more details, please feel free to contact me personal through email.

Distant Shores Media use modern technology to equip and help the global Church to make disciples of every people group. They provide open discipleship resources for every church to use to share the Good News like Open Bible Stories.

They also working together with entire global church through Door 43 translation platform to bring the Good News.

Why do they do it? It is because everyone should have God’s word and adequate discipleship resources in their own languages, for FREE.

In my own experiences in my home country, we do not have adequate discipleship resources in languages the people can understand better than the National language and English. And the need of translating God’s word in each needed language is very high. So far that we know it is at least 400+ languages that need translation of the Gospel.

Both of these organizations are partners in Bible Translation works by partnering with national translators, they help accelerate Bible translation and ensure that we are communicating God’s Word accurately—and powerfully.

They have a project called The unfolding Word. It is an open-licensed Biblical stories, translation training respirces and open-source tools that enable the global Church to do whatever is needed to accelerate the task of translating the Bible into every language.

We read this stories with our kids at home. Our 5 years old daughter can read the stories by herself now. This is FREE resources for you, your families and churches. This is a new tool for bringing the God’s word to the local people’s languages where you planting the church. Part of my assignment is also to help with this project, for now I am working remotely from home to work with a national organization that translating the stories into the national language so that the national translators can use the stories and translate them into each of their people group language. One that is amazing about this resources (beside they are FREE), the national translators can use is offline. They can share the Good News right away with their people as soon as their done translating it.

If you would like to know more about this ministry and “Gospel-sharing” tool, you can visit the website here. And over there, you can download the app to read the Bible Stories with your family, and feel free to use this tool to share the Gospel with those who need it.

Together we can end the Bible poverty and spiritual famine in all around the world with obeying His great commandment and take action by living put loud God’s calling to each of us.

WOULD YOU JOIN US TODAY IN PRAYER FOR 5 MINUTES FOR THIS MINISTRY?

Year In Review To Move Forward (+ DIY Sketchbook Journal Cover)

It is New Year’s Eve!!! WOW… can you believe that we are on the last day of 2014?

I am thankful for 2014.

Looking back for what we’ve been through this year, I am thankful. As family we learned so many things together. The big girl started her Kindergarten this year. The little girl can say her ABC and counting 1-20, although she always says, “1, 3, 2, 4, 5,…” LOL!!! Both girls love dancing, singing and crafting, too. I am one happy Mama who can craft with her girls 🙂

As parents, Dave and I grow in learning to be parents, keep asking God to give us wisdom to teach them the truth and walk in love. We went through tough days but He was there to help us.

Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it (Proverbs 22:6, NLT).

We love love love camping out in the Spring, Summer & Fall! That the best thing we found out our daughters LOVE being out in the nature because both my husband and I love outdoor activities.

As husband and wife, we celebrated our 6th Anniversary and this year was our 7th Christmas together. Each day we grow to love each other more and more… I am thankful for my amazing, loving and supporting husband. Dave is an answer to my prayer!

There was a bit change in our ministry. In January we resigned from Wycliffe Bible Translators. We were so discouraged and kept seeking God for answers. Dave and I felt in our hearts that God still want us to go to SEA* as missionaries. So, we went to a mission conference focusing on that particular country. There we learned so much important updates, talked to some people and meeting with some friends we knew before from the country. We were looking for an new opportunity to serve. Then couple days after we came back home, we got a call from the area director of Wycliffe Associates (it is a partner organization with WBT) and a director of a mission agency in the country offering both of us opportunities that we never thought of before. These new opportunities are perfectly fit for each of us. We were surprised by God and how He worked again and again! So we started our journey in September and right now we are raising support to go to SEA* serving with Wycliffe Associates as supported volunteers in 2015! We have some works to do remotely from home and cannot wait to work with the mother tongue translators & local churches directly soon to help them bringing the Good News to the 450+ Unreached & Bibleless People Groups!

If you would like to know more details, we would love to share with you more 🙂 You can sign up for our ministry newsletter & prayer update HERE. Please pray for us daily in our preparation to go and also please be prayerfully to consider to support us to go here. Your prayers & partnership end the Bible poverty in SEA*, because of your partnership those people can have God’s word in languages they can understand best in their hearts so that they may come to worship the one true living God through Jesus Christ through the works we will be doing there with the team.

We are thankful for our families, friends, church, and all new partners God has brought into our lives in 2014. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!

This year has been amazing for me personally. I learn a lot. Through personal quite time with the Lord, He help me to keep my eyes on Him and have faith in Him. Also, through group devotional time with our small church prayer meeting group & HelloMornings group, I learned so much of God, His love & truly He listened to our prayers.

In August, again, I was able to attend an amazing women blogging conference, Declare Conference, in Texas. I reconnected with blogging & online friends, met new “internet” friends I met in real life & even God led me to new connections with some friends. This was my second conference and He has blessed me tremendously! I am praying and hoping to go next year if we’re still here 🙂 You should check this conference and pray about going! They have limited seats for 2015!

In October, a scrapbooking friend introduced me to a group on Facebook, Journaling Bible Community, where I find lots of inspirations how to illustrate our faith and love for God in creative ways.

In that group, a lot by a lot of crafty friends inspire to learn more of this illustrating God’s word in creative ways. When we went out buying Christmas gifts, I found a big sketch book at Barnes & Noble for only $8.99! So I grabbed it and plan to use this sketch book for my 2015 Bible Study creatively 🙂

IMG_4344.JPG

I decorated the book cover with some paper doilies, washi tapes (CTMH), gold sequins assortment (CTMH) and mini stapler (CTMH)

For the big year title, I cut the 2015 with my Silhouette Cameo using DCWV glitter cardstock and the triangle border I cut the glitter cardstock using the Triangles Cutting plate from Taylored Expressions.

IMG_4345.JPG

The white polkadots is very easy to do. I trace the numbers, and then start stamping the dots using the eraser of my daugther’s pencil. I used CTMH White Archival Ink. I heat set it for a quick dry. Then I glued the numbers and triangle border.

Today I am sharing my project at Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut new challenge, Anything New Year. Check it out here!

Hope you can play along with us this week 🙂 Click here to link up your project(s).

I wanna take this day to THANK YOU ALL for all your love, prayers & supports in 2014 for me and my family! Thank you for inspiring me!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family.
God bless you abundantly in 2015!

Inspire Me Monday – Week 156

The Pretty Pintastic Party #35

A Letter To Jesus

Last day of school day in 2014. She was so excited for this Christmas break but also sad to find out that she would not go to school on Monday. She thought the Christmas break was only Saturday and Sunday. She loves school A LOT, we can tell 🙂

She came home early from school. Handed me her backpack as usual. I opened it and found some papers from her teacher. An announcement, colored activity pages, and this letter she wrote.

IMG_4179.JPG

A letter to Jesus.

She wrote a letter to Jesus.

For her this is not just a piece of paper she wrote. For her, this is what’s in her heart and want to share it with her Jesus.

Reading her letter not only bless me, but also comfort my heart knowing that she knows from whom all her blessings come. She started her letter with a thanksgiving…

This is also a reminder to all of us to see meaning of Christmas.

Do we thank God for what he has done in our lives in the past year?

I am blessed to see how God has been working in my daughter’s heart and life.

I am thankful for the directions, wisdom, and understanding He gives to my daughter to know Him and to love Him.

God is with us.

Emmanuel.

30 Days Give Thanks: Day 30

IMG_3672.JPG

Day 30. It is not the last day of giving thanks, but tomorrow a new day with new things to give thanks to the Lord.

I am thanking Him for this life in Him. I thank God for the past, present and future. Thankful to live this life with an amazing God who controls everything.

In the good and bad times, we will will through it with Him. For whatever lies before us in the future, He is already there to be with us.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you [and me]. (1 Thessalonians 5:18.)
