An Appreciation Card For Sunday School Teacher

There are many special people God has sent into my life and use them to change and bless me. One of those special people are teachers. A teacher is a person who helps others to acquire knowledge, competences or values (Wikipedia).

When I was at college, my professor kept reminding us as teachers or educators we are agents of change. End of school year is so close now, but the influences of teachers does not stop there. They leaves prints in students’ lives and changes their lives.

Today we are taking a look back at Our Daily Bread Designs May Release. Here is the card that I created for a Sunday School Teacher who has been helping my daughter to get to know God and who He is in her life.

On my card I use the Sunday School Teacher Stamp Set, Notebook Paper Stamp/Die DuosCrosses Dies Set, Clipboard Set Dies, Lattice Background Die, Pierced Rectangles Dies.

I die cut the Lattice Background out of black cardstock and added directly on top of the white card base with liquid adhesive. For the next layers, I die cut a piece of gold foil cardstock and white cardstock with 2 sizes of Pierced Rectangles Dies. I added them on top of the lattice background panel with double-sided tape.

I created a chalkboard look clipboard by cutting the base with black cardstock and lightly I added some white pigment ink on it with make up sponge. I set aside to dry while I was working on the notebook papers.

Using light blue ink pad, I stamped couple times the Notebook stamp on a white cardstock and cut it out with the matching die cut that comes in the same set. Then, I stamped the sentiment on top of it with black archival ink. I die cut the clip for the clipboard out of gold foil cardstock.

To put the clipboard together, I added the notebook papers slightly overlapping on the clipboard base with liquid adhesive, next is the clipboard clip with same adhesive. And then I added the whole clipboard on the card with 3D foam adhesive for extra dimension.

I stamped the cross with black archival ink and die cut it with the matching cross die. Then, I added it on the card with 3D foam tape. And to finished the card, I added some pearl gems on on the card.
