One Layer Card: Painted Sketched Ranunculus

Today I’d like to share a one-layer watercolor card that I made for a dear fried who is celebrating her birthday.

One Layer Card: Painted Sketched Ranunculus

The making process is very simple. I cute a piece of Canson Watercolor paper (140lbs) for the card base. The size of the card is 6″ x 4.5″

First, I stamped the Ranunculus Field Stamp from Stampendous with Black MementoLux and I heat-set it with my Craft Heater to make sure it dries really well (and quicker) before I started painting.

And then I painted it with Gansai Tambi watercolor. And I added some sparkle using Wink of Stella glitter brush for the finishing touch.

I love the finished card and wish I could kept it. But… My card is actually inspired by a 8×11 canvas art I made using the same stamp and painted it using Acrylic Paints 🙂

And this canvas… I get to keep 😀

I love Spring is here!

Thanks for visiting me today and have a fabulous day!
