Clean and Simple SMASH Scrapbook Layout

Hello everyone… Today I have something other than card, or mixed media, or a homedecor project, but it is a clean-and-simple SMASH Scrapbook page to share with you.

Believe it or not… I am still working on our memory scrapbook album! And I like the 8×10 SMASH book size. It is not too big but also not too small for a scrapbook. This is a quick to scrapbook page to make using the Wood Heart 2pc., one of the Wood Frame Shapes on my page as the frame.

I am sharing a full detail about this SMASH Scrapbook page on Clear Scraps Blog today. I hope you visit me there. And… I hope you also will check all the newly released products at the Clear Scrap stores. You will love them for sure!!!

Thank you for stopping by here today. Have a wonderful day!

Simple Halloween Mixed Media Layout

The Cut Shoppe

Happy Friday everyone! Today I have a simple Halloween mixed media scrapbook layout. Honestly… I am so happy that I am making progress with finishing my daughter’s baby album.

I am sharing this project at The Cut Shoppe Blog today. On my layout today, I use the Wicked Fun cutting file and the Road Trip Printable. On the background 12×12 cardstock, I sprayed the yellow Marabu Art Spray. I let it dry on the side while I work on the cutting.

I used the spider web and title from the Wicked Fun cutting file on this layout. I enlarged the spider web to fit on the background cardstock. Using my Silhouette Cameo, I cut it with black cardstock and then I added some of the Shimmer Creative Medium for extra glitter and sprakle on the web. It dried pretty quick. After that, I added the spider web on the base cardstock with adhesive glue.

I printed and cut the tag from the Road Trip Printable. I wrote the date and glued the tag behind the photo. I added couple of the mini staplers just for embellishments. And then, I added them on top of the spider web with adhesive glue.

I cut out the sentiment with yellow and black cardstocks and stacked them together to get the shadow effect on the die cuts. I also added some of the Shimmer Creative Medium on the word “First” for the shimmer and sparkle.  And then, I added both die cut words on the page using adhesive glue.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you all enjoy it. Have a wonderful day.

Joy Clair Stamps

Hello everyone… Summer and traveling go together. We travel to visit relatives, to go camping, and to go road-traveling to see interesting things. If you like journaling or creating mini scrapbooking projects, then you must be familiar with traveler notebook. I like to have notebooks with me when we are on road trips. Today I would like to share with you my traveler notebook that I created with stamps, pigment and chalk inks, watercolor pencils and colored pencils.

This travel notebook size is 4.25″ x 8.25″ and I made them out of heavy weigh cardstock 110 lbs for the cover, and the inside papers are mixed of copy papers and watercolor papers. I secured the pages by stitching them with some embroidery thread.

Stamp Sets I used on to decorate the traveler note book cover are 2 of the new Color By Faith Bible Journaling collection: Manna From Heaven and God’s Masterpiece. And the coloring mediums I used are Leisure Arts Premium Colored Pencils and Leisure Arts Watercolor Pencils.
