Hello everyone! Today, I have this fun Penguin Hugs shaped card to share with you.
I am joining my crafty friend, Esther, as a guest at the Polka Dot Orchard Collaboration Wednesday. I had fun making this penguin shaped card with this super adorable Penguin Love Digital Stamp Set!
First, I opened the penguin png file at the Silhouette Studio Software. Then using the Trace Tool, I trace the penguin image to create the cutting line. Next step, I used the Offset Tool to create the offset line around the cutting line. I duplicated the shape using the Mirror Replicate Tool and then welded both of them into a card.
I added the sentiment in the middle of the heart on the penguin after I modified a little bit. For front card, I used the Print-and-Cut tool for the penguin. I printed couple of the penguins that fit on a 8.5 x 11 heavyweight cardstock. After that, I cut them and the penguin card bases with my Silhouette Cameo 3.
I colored the penguin with Prismacolor Premier Pencils and Colorless Blender Pencil. I added the penguin on top of the card with permanent dries-clear adhesive glue. The card is 4.25″ tall that will fits inside a regular A2 card envelope.
I like how this penguin shaped card turned out and I do hope you like it, too. Head over to Polka Dot Orchard blog to see Esther’s project.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. Have a fabulous day!
