March Card Chain Challenge Reveal

Today I would love to share with you a card I for a card chain challenge where I participate every month. This Card Chain Challenge hosted by Deborah on her blog where you can find all the detail how to participate and enter to win her blog candy. Participants are challenged to create a card using one of two of the 4 options (sketch, color combo, theme and product used) she provided every month. This one fun way to make new friend. I met lots of new crafty friends from all over some countries.

This is the card I made for March CCC. I sent this card to my new friend Lynne in Canada.

For this card I picked the theme, Easter and product, watercolor paper. That background I created watercolor blue gradient and dried it using the Craft Heater for speedy drying and to make sure it is really dry before I stamp the sentiment. And then stamped the sentiment from His Love stamp set (B1469) using Thistle Exclusive Ink Pad.

The lily flower is from the same stamp set. I stamped it on a separate White Daisy cardstock with Black Exclusive Ink Pad, color it using Watercolor Pencils and fussy cut it using Micro-tip Scissors. I added the flower using 3D foam tape.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from His Love stamp set also set using Black Exclusive Ink Pad. Finally, I finished the card with twine and some Sparkle Clear assortment.

Easter Card Set 2 and SEM Challenge

We make it to April. WOW! Spring finally arrive in our town. Our daughter is playing Spring soccer with her little team and she loves it a lot!

Today, Scrapping Everyday Miracles has a new challenge up on their blog. They have Verse/Theme challenge, Layout Sketch Challenge and Card Sketch Challenge. Hello There, You’re Awesome

Handwriting or handlettering is becoming a trend right now. Couple of days ago, I tried out some writing using VersaMarker and heat-embossed it. I love the result and keep making more cards.

Today, I would like to share with one more card I made using that technique. First I created the background using some watercolor paint and them dried it really well using Craft Heater. Then I wrote the sentiment using VersaMarker, added some Silver Embossing Powder and heat set it using Craft Heater.

The additions sentiments are from Operation Smile Stamp – You’re The Bomb. This is available at CTMH Store only until 3/31/2014. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY to purchase this set. Weekend is the time to make something at my craft room 🙂 In the last week, I have been sharing with you cards I made for Spring and Easter season.
